Want to see what Tate Forcier's 30 scholarship offers look like?

wreck

Pretty much a regular

This will keep them honest. Tate Forcier, a hotshot prep quarterback from San Diego's Scripps Ranch High, has scholarship offers from 30 teams.

And to prove it, he has started posting the letters on the Internet, Andy Staples of SI.com reports.

Thus far, 21 letters have been posted and all but one — from first-year Washington State coach Paul Wulff — contain a legal disclaimer in case another player commits first.

Writes Staples: "Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez, who has had some recent experience with attorneys, must have had a real legal eagle help him with his letter, which contains the slickest — and one of the most accurate — disclaimers of the 21.

" 'This letter remains viable until such time as NCAA Rule 15.5.5 regarding squad limits [85 total] would appear to be compromised. Therefore, as a necessary consequence, grants may only be awarded on availability.' "

more offers

I will say Iowa needs to work on their letterhead and maybe that font too, courier for an official offer? really?

Fondy,

you really oughta get Wisky to work on this letterhead. Looks like an 8th grader banged this letter out in a MS Word Template.

they slipped up and didn't black out the Oregon phone #. Who is calling??

just called it.

Its for Jeff Hawkins.

His number is listed on the Ducks website and its just a work number. Probably why they didn't black it out.

Notice the list of bowl victories on the left margin of his letter from LSU.

Notice the first listed "National Champion" and the years (1958, 2003).

Notice the date of the letter from LSU is 2/5/08.

LSU won their third nat'l title on 1/7/08.

implying what?

Maybe the just didn't get their stationary updated. I'm not quite sure what your pointing out here. What were they supposed to do throw their old paper away?

If i were him i'd go to stanford. Phenominal academic institution as well as being able to play against top talent every year.

Yes. If they can afford $3.5M a yr for Miles, a $3M for our mascots cage, and however much they just got Trent Johnson for, not to mention Paul Manieri in baseball... I think LSU can afford to throw away outdated letterhead and buy some new fucking paper.

To add to that, I would think they would want to showcase their NC on the letterhead as well

Blue you can thank Jindal.
He took over and froze all state hiring and spending.
Its all on Piyush errr Bobby.
Seriously though we had Jindal letterhead ready to go on day one.

Fascinating Stuff. I remember in high school reading all these letters for a friend who was being recruited for track on a full scholarship, but not nearly this many.

From all these letters, I think I'd go to Michigan-not only would he be a nice fit in the pat White mold, but I like the Mich letterhead + a personal note from the coach...
