The introduction of legalized gambling could give WWE an increased appeal to a new set of fans while significantly altering creative storylines. Paul Levesque, whose wrestling name is Triple H, took over as head of WWE’s creative operations from Vince McMahon in July. McMahon stepped down as WWE chairman and CEO last year amid sexual misconduct allegations but returned to the WWE board in January as executive chairman to prepare the company for a sale process.

Sure why not. While adding new sports to wager on, why not have prop bets what the game time kick-off temperature is, or the wind speed and direction. . Bad idea WWE.

This already happens everywhere outside the us

The limits are max 50$ and the odds are usually insane

All this is doing would be adding that option to US books, not a huge thing

Some valid points here. But the difference is, this would be legal in the United states. Also who knows if they would increase the limit up from $50. Not everyone in the United States has offshore books to gamble at. This would then give them the chance to also wager on predetermined matches. Finally I could see some money coming in on wrestlers just because the 'marks' love that guy/girl and that's their favorite wrestler.

Less than three weeks until WrestleMania, will the books have past the legal requirements for wagering? Time will tell.
