Zeke

Big Dick and Average Size Boat
My dad gave up on them years ago & this shit rolls off his back like rain on a duck. I wish I could say the same.

Granted this wasn't nearly the kick in the balls that the 1998 championship game against the dirty birds was, but this is top five.

Tough one Zeke. I was pulling for them. Silver lining is that they are building a solid team and doing it the right way. Future is bright for your squad.

Chiefs, Raiders & Oilers. Not sure who the fourth was, Miami maybe. No particular order there

Oilers? Nah, in order it was Chiefs, Phins, Steelers, Raiders. Think that's right. Don't think they've been back since Tark against Stabler.

Most playoff losses all time, 27. Probably now 28. Great way to make it into the record books.

brutal beat, completely outplayed Seattle all day long.....Wilson makes one amazing play and AP fumble and missed FG at the end did them in....Future looking bright though, AP should have atleast 2 or 3 more productive years in him.

it's the kind of thing you don't forget either

tuck game still fucking infuriates me whenever it comes up

all my sympathy to vikes fans, no one deserves that

Fucking brutal. I feel bad for Walsh. He took it hard.

Agree with teeed regarding the tuck rule.

Zeke, I feel you brother. I was at both games (99 and today) and even though the kick in 99 was to go to the SB, this one felt so much worse. point blank miss. fucker.

:shake:

I heard somewhere that the Vikings have never suffered more than 2 consecutive losings seasons? Is this true?

I can't believe I didn't go around the house with a hammer & smash random shit. I wanted to kick my girlfriends little dog so fucking badly.

I feel more for you given you're right in the city & went to both those games. Must've frozen your nuts off.

I guess in a way this one does hurt more because they played their asses off against a legit opponent & were the dogs. That Atlanta game can be blamed on Billick & his horseshit second half game calling. This one was one ridiculous broken play then the AP fumble which all fans knew was eventually coming. Really feel for Walsh, poor bastard. Holder should've spun the laces but still a chip shot.

Let's not forget Staubach beating them with the Hail Mary to Drew Pearson that robbed the Vikings of another Super Bowl appearance.

Vikings of the mid 70s the most forgotten great team in NFL history.

Bringing this back. P unit, Marlo, Young One...? Let's talk shit while we can. Only undefeated team!!!

If we can get homefield advantage no one is coming in to US bank and beating us with our defense. First time maybe in career Bradford has had confidence, and it is showing. I was at the game today, and man he had some great throws.

said it all year last year; the guy can play. nobobdy wanted to listen. but i saw him hit receiver after receiver in the hands and they just dropped pass after pass and people blamed sam.

always love when a trade works out for both sides.

You & P were both there apparently. That place looks so nice. Bucket list.

Like we have zero running game, but Bradford thankfully has been excellent, but this defense hasn't/won't put him in a spot to fail.

Xavier Rhodes is the best fucking CB in the league. Look at his fucking pedigree Kelvin Benjamin check, OBJ Check, Nuk Hopkins Check

Watching that defense play is something else. So much fun to watch. Haven't been to the stadium yet but i'll get there eventually. Speaking of bucket list, I was at the Sunday of Ryder Cup. Now that's some bucket list shit! Buddies and I already decided we're going again in 2020

I got a bad feeling about this thread in January...

lol, this is the reason I'm not going to get too carried away. yet. Give it a couple more weeks and I'll come around.

But I like where things are heading.....

wasn't there one of you lot that was betting the under season win totals when Bridgewater went out?

a few of us did. i went with gb to win the division instead of taking the under, whcih i guess is still in play. remember, at that time they did not have bradford, and i do think that he adds 2 wins to the team that shaun hill wouldnt have gotten.

but it was more about gettign value. when the tweet came out about bridgewater, i took the pack bc i knew that once the books got the news, the line would change, which it did. then the bradford trade happened and it moved again. id do it again in a heartbeat but i cant say im feeling good about ti

Ya and after teddy went down this year basically playing with house money

Wont get worried until like nfc ship game I imagine and at that point you take it any day

I was wrong on the Bradford trade I thought they should have waited but that 1St is likely in the 20s now

So not a huge deal

Think most credit has to go to norv, he's ofensive version of wade Phillips, way over qualidied as a coordinstor but terrible hc. His game plans have been on point

yeah the 1st isnt as big of a deal but the better u do the higher our other pick...if u maek the super bowl i believe its a 2nd. ill take that. and so will you. good trade for both sides. thats a rarity.

5-0 without 'starting QB, RB, best WR and star O-lineman'.

Zimmer is already coach of the year.

well, I bought back some Vikes to win NFC North at +250 the day the trade was announced, so not quite as much as I initially had.

Good time to bump this thread. Shitty kicker, no run game, no O-line, continuously missing with first tackler & makeshift OC. How does this team have a shot?

And wtf happened yesterday? I had to split at 4, I was watching with my daughter & literally turned the TV off after Vikes went up with like 10 seconds to go. Told her "we'll just leave now & assume they don't blow this. I mean Lions have no time outs and almost no time to get the ball into FG range, no way the Vikings blow this."

Good return? Hail Mary? I saw the OT TD just don't know how it got to that point.

The secondary was dog shit all day.

But they have no kicker, no run game, and no o-line. There isn't one person starting on the Oline that started the 1st game of the year.

They have no shot. The 2016 Vikings are the 2015 FAlcons

It got to that point because Zimmer made a colossal mistake by calling timeout with 27 seconds instead of 10. So Detroit ad 23 seconds left instead of 6. Two plays is all Detroit needs with Prater indoors and that's exactly what they did. The scary thing is i'm not sure Zim has even realized this mistake yet. Certainly didn't in the presser after the game. He also brought no extra pressure those last two plays for whatever reason. Just a little common sense and we're 6-2.......smh
