Really an awesome main event for cable TV. This could be an HBO main event easily. Props to Fox

5 dimes may have that incorrect for Victor fight....I see 12 rds everywhere. Anyone confirm as well?

Ring rust be damned....be hard for me not to take Ortiz here

just jumped on victor for 2 units(-165). i think he's gonna knock out collazo. it's a 10 round fight though, at least according to kevin iole. ortiz inside distance +370 .5x

If he knocks out Collazo I'll be impressed. Maybe a little rusty, and a Collazo is a slick veteran. I played Collazo +175 for 1u for action. I think this is a poor choice for a first fight from a layoff for Ortiz.

It is 12 rds, as announced on the telecast

12 rounds for the WBA intercontinental 147 belt.

I think Victor stops him. Collazo is not the same guy that gave Berto and Hatton trouble and I think we see a motivated and focused Ortiz for the first time since the Berto fight.

Where was that Victor against Riverside Rocky with a Canello fight on the line?

Well he was dominating until he forgot to bite down on a punch and he fell apart when he faced adversity like always. I just think after 19 months and a new corner he will be ready to go, for this fight.

However, who really knows what Ortiz will show up Gotta back the fighting pride of Kansas.

Russel is such a wasted talent, he could be the next big thing, if he actually decided to fucking fight.

I know he has had hand troubles in the past, but man he needs to be active so bad.

Man I must have been hitting the sauce hard that night. I definitely don't remember Ortiz dominating. He was winning though.

Too much sand in the Vag. Afraid his glass hands might break.

I was hitting it hard too, but I felt he was having his way most of the fight until the jaw injury. Never re watched it though so I could be wrong. I had him up 4 or 5 at the time of the stoppage, pretty sure I threw something across the room when he quit.

IMO it's a joke to put Gary Russel on TV fighting bull shit cans.

Al Haymond man. Hell he got him an 8 round fight on HBO as a co feature. I can see Russel going the Berto route and winning a bs belt and defending it against a bunch of bums for 7 figure pay days.

My guy has no line for this fight LOL...what a joke

Then he goes to Sb and tries to dangle a -250 at me LMAO

I like Ortiz and woulda laid the -155....I aint layin -250

Ask Jab 2.0.......my local is crazy. I have had bantam weight fights in Panama that 5 dimes didnt even offer LOL

but nothing for this ...wtf

Collazo pretty tough

Only been KO/TKO once...in 2002

GL

And it is 12 rds according to the broadcast

I think Vic wins

Eh, not too bad. I like Luis, but this shouldnt be a tremendous blood and guts fight for Vic....I think the fight is intended to get Vic rounds....cuz Luis aint gettin dropped( i think anyway)

I like the fight all in all

Take that Josesito L off Vic's record, and this line is way higher...way higher

He has a huge man crush on "Vicious"
LOL

Ortiz is certainly likable.....wild story of upbringing, very challenging

When he quit vs Maidana, if he was one of Mike Vick's dogs he woulda been...you know

Especially a Mex_American........the Mexicans dont really feel him so much hahah

IF he wasn't from Kansas I would have given up on him long ago. I just feel obligated to support the one good fighter we get every 20 or so years lol. I was 2 bottles of wine in during his last fight so I am sure I saw a completely different fight than everyone else.

Very impressed with this FS1 card so far.

I really hope Golden Boy keeps investing in these cards, they could really help grow the sport back on regular cable.
yep I remember watching Shane Mosley fight on like a Wednesday on USA or some shit
