VGK @ "LA Goons" Thursday

LeRinkRat

Pretty much a regular
unfortunately NO odds tonight because the Goons playing a "split squad" with half their players @ Vancouver vs the Canucks. WHY that is a "big deal" when the lineups ARE listed I do NOT know

VGK Forwards
Smith-Karlsson-Marchessault
Carrier-Lindberg-Nosek
Kolesar-Bellemare-Carr
Matteau-Tynan-Pirri

D-pairs
Deryk Engelland-Brad Hunt,
Nic Hague-Jake Bischoff and
Erik Brannstrom-Griffin Reinhart

Goalies: Dansk & Lagace

@ Kings Forwards
Kovalchuk-Kopitar-Brown
Rempal-Carter-Anderson-Dolan
Clifford-Lewis-Bauman
Mitchell-Sutter-Herr

D-pairs
Brickley-Doughty
Phaneuf-Fantenberg
MacDermid-Walker

Goalies: Quick & Petersen

WHAT a bunch of bullshit NO line!!! 5-1 VGK half way thru the 2nd period in LA. goals by "Wild Bill" Karlsson (PP), Daniel Carr, Reilly Smith, and TWO from Jonathan Marchessault who also has two assist. Reily Smith also with three assist. Jeff Carter the one Kings goal

Oscar Dansk for VGK vs Jonathan Quick for Kings in goal. it is "Not So Quick" for the for LA tonight

last year AHL Chicago Wolves D-man Nicolas Hague with the 6th VGK goal with an assist from Brandon "The Squirrel" Pirri. 6-1 VGK end of 2nd period would have definitely MADE the OVER :(

Ilya Kovalchuk returns to the NHL with a goal for Kings 4:36 into the 3rd period. NOW 6-2 VGK. Calvin Petersen replaces Quick in goal for the Kings for the 3rd. "Not So" probably ready for some pizza and beer after his night. Oscar Dansk still in goal for the VGK

AND Keegan Kolesar "kicks the extra point" at 19:02 for the VGK. 7-2 VGK final. my be just pre-season BUT always NICE to kick the LA Goons ASS!!! :)
