Bo Nix status?.

Late night Saturday game with a lot of intrigue..

Can Oregon get up off the carpet?

Can Utah win on road and give RSW fans a chance at a win instead of a probable push?

Talk away ...

I have @JamesCrepea as an Oregon twitter source that might give Nix updates when and if

Two absolutely huge games for Oregon to close the year both in terms of PAC 12 Title hopes and the Civil War. If I had to say what would happen, I would guess they split.

Oregon hasn't been a home dog since the first Cristobal season in 2018. A +2.5 loss home vs Stanford and a +3.5 OT win vs UW.

It is difficult to really say without any context...but Rising has had two of his worse statistical performances the last 2 weeks in terms of completion %, yards per attempt and rating. There was weather to contend with vs Arizona.

We're very confident. They both are two great quarterbacks," Hutson said. "Obviously Bo is down, so it's next man up. They gonna go in like they've been there before and we trust both of them."

any info on the backup is he any good , liked oregon before the news

Ty Thompson? 5 star. People have said he is good, I don't know if they are going by spring games or scrimmages or high school. Can't be going by live game action. They started Anthony Brown ahead of him last year, even when Brown slumped and people thought the Oregon O could produce so much better, they never went to Thompson. That might've said more about the staff relationship to Brown than it does about Thompson...but they recruited Thompson, why never play him. Your own 5 star recruit couldn't beat out a BC transfer? Brown had good leadership qualities and was often steady while rarely spectacular. Then this year they bring in a new transfer QB. Which I can get the relationship with the new OC and Nix. It's just so weird you have a highly regarded QB waiting in the wings and he never gets on the field. So maybe there are things they see in him that they do not like?

If you throw out the numbers vs FCS teams, his stats are pretty bad. Obviously, mostly in garbage time but doesn't look great.

Rising had definitely been off the last two games. His misses have been high and he's made two or three bad decisions. Apparently it's his knee, I think the plant foot is part of the high throws.

That being said, I think Tavion Thomas might finally be out of timeout and he should be fresh. The Utah defense is so much better than they were to start the season but qb's that can escape the pocket are their kryptonite. How will it all play out? We shall see.....

I'm just happy to have a chance at this RSW (o9).

If they lose to Colorado next week, well, it wasn't meant to be hehe.

Even without nix it pretty tough for me to go against a team who had won 20 something straight at home, before losing last week, as dogs at home. I lean utes just dunno that I can actually pull the trigger.

I'm on Utah. I liked them even before I heard Nix was hobbled. I don't like teams that look flashy all year, then lose the biggest game of the year at home. Utah has had problems this year (so has my handicapping for that matter) and they are not the killers on the road they are at home, but I see them as the best D and the toughest team and they are used to playing these type games. The fact I get the best coach and the best QB is icing on the cake.

I thought about betting them on a teaser instead and may still add that
