Thanks all, the Walker pick is a home town pick, played about 20 city and state am tournaments with him when he was in HS and college and played some other rounds then.
I was a +1 at the time, he had amazing distance even then but basically split on W L with him though his short game and putting just got a lot better and I worked more and played less.
He was really good but not someone we thought was Ryder Cup or Major winner but very proud of him and have kept in touch though no more rounds together like in the 1990s, and I am not a +1 any more lol
