UGH... Can't Wait

I don't know about you guys I can't wait for baseball. NBA is brutal to watch right now and my Tarheels even though they are #1 aren't gonna be for long. Decided to start this thread just to see if we can get some baseball talk going.

Any Mets fans out there? Heard a rumor from a fairly reliable site that Bedard could still possibly be coming our way.

Whats the deal with Johan? Been kinda quiet lately... Probably b/c of fatboy Clemens. Does anyone really think he was clean?

I can't wait for baseball to get started. I've been listening to games from last season just to get my fix. I can't wait to bet all the crazy props(runs in first inning, team totals, real degen stuff)

I hate the Mets(I'm a Phillies fan) and look forward to New York's third place finish this year

I think the Yankees eventually get Johan and that Bedard will either stay with Baltimore or get traded to Seattle.

yep...i don't do baskets either. less than 3 months though, and the marathon begins.

as for deals...
in a way unfortunately, it seems to me that the yanks will end up overpaying for johann. bedard seems to be headed to seattle, though i'll believe it when i see it. and most surprisingly, if the halos don't do a konerko/cws deal, they'll prolly be standing pat...with an extra SP and an extra OF, still no SS and no protection for vlad.
makes little sense for the Halos. but then again...they had the best offer on the table for both tejada and cabrera...yet, for some reason, nobody would deal with them. (had the best reported offer for johann too, btw.)

I have sucked at betting on baseball for the past 5 years, usually quit after 3 months ..but its my favorite sport to cap ...This year will be different...I have big plans ...NL 1st inning runs prop / chase , the daily Hile total and the emkee dog plays..lol
