Seems to be a decent card today, even after 2 fights getting changed last minute.



So far 2024 has been good for me. I skipped last week as that was the worse card in memory. Hoping to stack another winning card today in this noon start.

• Long should be able to control with striking and cardio, although fight #1 will be a solid scrap. Lee likes to push pace and wear down opponents but Long has a deep tank, plus he has solid TDD, so it's tougher to wear an opponent on the feet.
• I always hate to see a UFC debut as big chalk. Gadzhiyasulov is from Dagestan, although he fights out of Bahrain, he needs the finish early after his cardio was exposed in the DWCS in his last fight. This fight just seems a got setup for him to win and look great doing it. Ribeiro has been finished in 1st round 4 times so I think it's at least a fair chance.

• Kang is very experienced, durable with the bigger gas tank...so long as he avoids big shot early he should be OK.
• Dalby may be underrated here, dude is 6-1 in UFC last 5 years, but Rinat is a scary specimen at 6' with 74" reach, I have to like him but not at this price...pass.
• Lima may be undefeated but against questionable comp along with the fact that Naimov has looked great going 3-0 in UFC. Bad thing is you don't really know what you get with Lima, he's Brazilian tough and has trained with the likes of Alexander Gustafsson and Khamzat Chimaev at Allstars Training Center in Sweden.
• Don't sleep on Jared Gordon, dude is tough as nails, moves forward and once he gets to the clinch he can be trouble for most. Nasrat is the better striker with speed and will be wanting to maintain distance and tee off from the outside. I may lean to Nasrat, but at these odds, gimme a gritty veteran dog to come through big.

• If Walker ever lives up to potential...look out.
• Shara on a mission after going distance and tiring in last fight.
• I really believe D-Rod flatlines him here!
• Volk uses his length well and will keep distance with jabs, straight right and push kicks, all the while punishing Pavlovich and maybe even getting a late finish.
