my early action...
  • 1.33/5 TERRANCE MCKINNEY IN ROUND 2 +375
  • 2/3.16 DARREN ELKINS +158
  • 2/6.90 DARREN ELKINS INSIDE DISTANCE +345

  • Not much on prelims worth a look today but I will take "The Damage" in feature as Brown has had trouble with grapplers in the past. Elkins generally can absorb the damage and keep moving forward until he gets it to the ground where he should have clear advantage.
  • McKinney odds are crazy as he gets a short notice debutante. I don't see "T Wrecks" having much trouble and the finish probably comes by sub as Marotte can bang, so Terrance's smart move will be his grappling.

Main Card

  • 4/2.38 SAAIMAN vs RODRIGUEZ o2½ -168
  • 4/2.20 MICHEL PEREIRA -182
  • 2/2.28 MICHEL PEREIRA INSIDE DISTANCE +114
  • 3/2.04 PEREIRA vs PETROSKI u2½ -147

Prelims went ok for me, so let's keep it going

  • Probably the fight of the night with 2 up and coming bantamweights. Excellent matchmaking by the UFC as this one should deliver a great show. Martinez is probably the best kickboxer in this division and keeps getting better fight after fight. He loves to chop the lead leg which could be key vs the boxing style of Yanez with his heavy lead leg. Yanez does thrive in a brawl if he can just get inside the big kicks. I'll back Martinez to stay technical, maintain distance and out strike the boxer in an awesome fight of the night candidate.
  • From that to the snoozer of the main, I'll back Araujo hoping she shows more aggression and gets after it early on. Small play and a trinket on the finish.
  • Main event should be a striking affair all the way. Both are excellent strikers, but I'll take a chance with Edson and his vast edge in experience, plus he looks to be in amazing shape, almost as if USAD left months ago.
