UFC 75 (Huge News!)

Just remember to stay off the sites that give updates. They are pretty good with warning banners or SPOILER alerts, but nonetheless stay away.

This card has a very realistic chance to be nonstop action. This card isnt name brand like "Stacked" was but is loaded with very good matchups.

Quinton Jackson (UFC LHW Champion)

v

Dan Henderson (PRIDE MW & LHW Champion)

Two champions! Dont really need to say anything else. Both will go at one another...in different ways.

Mirko Cro Cop v Cheik Kongo

Matchups make fights. Well this isnt a grappler with a slow lumberer. This two strikers. Kongo has arguable the best body in mma. Right there with Phil Baroni, though Baroni sticks a needle in his hip to get his. Kongo is ripped!! Too bad he cant hit like he looks. Just isnt aggressive enough and not good enough in countering like Liddell counters. CC "should" get a KO in the 1st.

Michael Bisping v Matt Hamill

Another fight that has two fighters that like to bang. Hamill will be looking for a takedown and Bisping has a chance to be a stud. He is well rounded that isnt shy of throwing strikes. I think Bisping will beat up Hamill pretty bad. I havent seen Hamill fight since TUF, I am sure he has improved, but is it enough? Has the chance to be fight of the night.

Houston Alexander v Alessio Sakara

Should be a quick fight. For whoever wins. We all know who HA is now. But not many know about AS. Including me. He does like to strike and has decent power from what I remember. But if you look at his past fights, he has beaten only guys I have never heard of, except for Elvis Sinosic. I think Elvis has pissed someone off or the UFC is playing a terrible joke on him by keeping him around only for a punching bag. His losses were to "known" fighters. This has a chance to be KO of the night.

no shit, i found this out today and i was stoked!! Its no wonder why the UFC has put boxing in the dust. All I got to say is that White is the shit. I have no problem ponying up 40-50 bucks for ppv when they throw me a freebie every now and then. Plus this card is badass.

Michael Bisping v Matt Hamill

“Me and Matt didn’t really get along so this is a good old fashioned grudge match for us. He has been calling me out and wants to show the world who is the ultimate fighter - so I’m looking forward to getting in there, shutting him up once and for all and teaching him some respect.”
– The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season three light heavyweight champion Michael Bisping tells the Lancashire Telegraph that he is prepared to put to rest any claims UFC 75 opponent Matt Hamill has regarding his win on the reality series when the two meet in London, England, on September 8. Hamill, who had to pull out of the semifinals during the season because of an injury, feels he would have defeated Bisping had the two met at the TUF 3 Finale.

This is a bbq pigs ear compared to the carrot stick last time. Though I didnt think the last freebie was bad. I was actually excited to see some of the fights. But this is a very nice looking card.
