UConn Info

Pretty much a regular
For whatever it's worth, I have a buddy who is a season tix holder for UConn. Have no idea why but here's a text from him from the site.
Mass exodus of players has left them w/ no depth at all. Can't afford to red shirt anyone & lots of guys starting that are admittedly not ready. Per Randy Edsall. Preaching patience to fan base. Gonna be a long year!!!!!

By mass exodus of players, might he just mean year over year and not something time sensitive?

Tell your friend, your qb is a keeper and to stop being so fair weathered
Johnny, he bet UCF every way possible. I wouldn't call him fair weathered only because he actually attends every home game with a tailgate crew. I have no problem with someone who knows their team sucks and discloses it

I'm just playing. I can understand him being down since previous head coach was closet Yaggo/douche.

Half the teams in this country wish they had Uconns new OC, let alone QB or HC.

I've never met your friend, and this is mostly in jest, but if he is from CT, where I went to high school, chances are high he is a fair weathered yuppie.

There is a reason the northeast is a hole when it comes to college football. Nothing personal, just saying.

I really only noticed the QB extending plays and fleet afoot, but it seemed like any forward pass beyond 8 yds or so weren't really close to his receivers, in fact they were much closer to the defender(s). I really only watched bits and pieces of that game though so it's possible I just caught him at the wrong times, and it's very possible that's the best defense he sees this year although next week at Boise might be similar. Not feeling great about their ability to score, or at least finish.

I would be shocked if they had that kind of success against the Boise State defense. Of course, I was shocked they were that successful against the UCF defense too.

They had something like 6 or 7 drives into UCF territory without pts, including at least three penetrations of the 25.
