As per the hotline, Miller Park roof expected to be open to start the game but there's a 30% chance of showers so it might not STAY open.

this shit ayer with Schreiber and now today with H really pisses me off; those are two games where literally you go from a) having a bet on the wrong thing and losing becuse of the ump and b) not having a bet because of a bad ump (for over) and then not having a winner.

What's Joe West's story? I looked at the numbers and he was slightly under last year, bigger over the few years prior and 3-3 this year. I'm liking the over in KC today (wind is favorable) and the Cards are scoring some runs. Not sure how Lyons will do in his second start, but I guess we'll see.

He's a homer. My numbers might be a bit off but I have him at 72-49 in his last 121 (86-62 since 2009). However, home teams are only 18-21 with him in 2012 and 2013 combined.

As for balls and strikes, I've always considered him a fairly neutral ump with a slight lean to the over. Some might disagree with my assessment, mind you.

lyons by far the least talented of the youngsters cards have been bringing up imo, i doubt he stays in the rotation real long..throws a lot of fastballs it not a particularly impressive one if you ask me,, i think kc can hit him, whether those bums actually translate hits into runs is anyone's guess tho..santana has had some really good starts with west behind the plate but you right cards lineup really tough when they get the dh.. i actually held my nose and played kc ff thinking santana can be good enough and lyons gets hit, didnt wanna bet gm cause cards pen got day off yesterday thanx to waino so think adv them late.

santana with west...

Wendlestedt is really squeezing both pitchers at the Trop. Gonna have to reevaluate the way I look at him for sure.

over guy for sure for me...

...let's debate what's happening with these umps tomorrow. I remember the two 2-gamers before the break the umps just go to the closest parks, but here i'm not sure with how far some of the series are from the first locale (SEA/SD, COL/HOU especially)

other lengthy trips are atl/tor and az/tex

i would expect any cross-city groupings to remain the same for sure obviously as well as the in-state or local stuff (stl/kc, mia/tampon, balt/was, min/mil)

his strikezone is unlike any other in the league and he'll squeeze you in C.B. fashion if there's any barking

i have sox, injuns, bosox and cards in a 3/2 round robin parlay as well

2-0 is nothing against the cubs, play ball!

thank god. There was no way Sale was coming back out to pitch and I don't really trust sox bullpen. Not that PIT's is much better, but they were down 0-2.

Thought Wendelstadt was squeezing and cost the Rays several runs...just mental note...bigtime OVER ump I guess because of shit like this
