The Truth Is Out There
60-46-1 (+21.01)

1-0 last night.

All went to plan in the end.

San Antonio Spurs at Minnesota Timberwolves

The play...

Spurs -9.5 (2 units)

Random thoughts in a bit.

Both teams is so-so scheduling spots but it's worse for the Wolves and their weak bench.

Spurs on a 5 in 7, Wolves on a 4 in 5.

Spurs have the luxury of being super-deep with the ability of resting so mileage overall isn't that big of a deal,

whereas Minny is young and shallow.

Young and shallow in bad scheduling spots is and always will be a bad recipe.

Spurs in the race for 1st place and have the added incentive of being off a loss.

Not concerned about them resting the original 'Big 3' (Manu, Timmay and Parker), actually prefer it in this spot.

Had it lined at 12 originally, 10 - 10.5 is fair with the 'Outs'.

Either way, forced to play it and I guess we'll see.

Had leans on the Raps and Wiz but both sets of refs in those games gave me the shits, so passed.

Spurs 13-0 SU on the 2nd night of a back-to-back with an average winning margin of 12.4 points.

We will find out. The games at home vs Chicago and OKC. 5 in 7 for an older team. Minn 2 days off after this game.
Refs in game clear lean to dogs

I forgot to list. Minn 8-3 ATS last 11 home games while most of the big chalk teams at this point simply do not care about the ATS

Hence them resting Parker, Tim and Manu for the homestand.

The 5 in 7 thing is overblown for good teams, Spurs know how to manage minutes.

Veteran teams handle 'bad spots' much better than the young and enthusiastic. It's proven. Minny cannot lean on their bench.

Minny coach is running LaVine into the ground with shitty minute management.

Minny 6-18 SU playing before 2-days rest the past 2 seasons.

Refs lean to the dogs is minor at best, mainly small evenly matched dogs.

Spurs 16-1 ATS (17-0 SU) off a loss that broke a 4 or more game winning streak since January 2013 (5-1 ATS, 6-0 SU this season).

Can list a ton of other 'team trends' in the Spurs' favor but there is no point.

It's more about the situation for Minny and the makeup of said team as opposed to any trends anyway.

Now that is a good stat. I am not sure it matches Chicago and OKC though. Meanwhile BOL except in this game.

The timberwolves bench is horrendous.... good luck boss, im going to try to get this ingame if i can... too much else on the board today

Both these teams are on a 5 games in 7 nights without have two straight home games... that cannot be good for their legs, especially for an erratic undisciplined team like the twolves

Yep. Appreciate the input fellas.

Win or lose, the numbers say I'm riding the advantages at least in my opinion.

Remembering Minny fought hard for that cover last night.
