the injuries certainly aren't helping, but Maddon is one of the best (if not the best) in the game and I think we're gonna start getting good numbers on them

same, they're awesome at home and have a decent pen despite the recent struggles. Gonna have to switch to the small-ball approach and i actually really like it for them. Jennings back tomorrow helps even with that awful BA, like Pomerantz tomorrow even though I was thinking he'd be a great fade going forward. Just not convinced in the TB lineup or Odorizzi tossing two gems b2b
 
Some interest in a first half bet in Colorado over. Understand that that first game is not likely to repeat. Bob Davidson was the ump. Bumgarner was on 4 days rest. He is much worse on 5 days rest. His first game at home vs Colorado he was on 5 days rest and he gave up 3 runs first 5 and got 6 runs from his team.
 
Looking at Beckett last 3 years playing on 6 days rest he does not pitch well

Continue, I'm hoping for the legs to be heavy tomorrow for Miami and I like the Phillies lineup better. Don't think Desclafani gets 13 runs of support and think AJ is in a dream park for flyballs
 
Played Toronto +133, looking at BAL/PHI/MIN and Bum if a big price drop but I don't expect it
 
Miami has the best home field edge in baseball. Miami is a solid night team. 19-15
Philadelphia is 10-18. Philadelphia is 1-5 with a day off while Miami is 2-2. There is more like an edge to playing a young man as opposed to one 37. Burnett in his last 20 road games is 7-13 and his last 2 starts were very ugly. 11 innings 9 earned runs. 7 walks in 11 innings

Oakland decided favorite now, as they should. They are so good. Probably not a great spot tho. 2 game LAA chase will be a winner. Houston is in g3 of rdl chase. Angels have seen Feldman a bunch. They got owned last night. If Fister really switches to favorite that will be very interesting and would make Cincy a fade on rdl chase. These lineups are weak, probably under again.

Oakland among other things is 5-2 away in first game of series
Tampa at 2-8 last 10 at home-----
Liriano seems to be getting his form back which may also include his love of 5 days rest.
 
There is a chance Morales will bounce back. Not counting on it but over his career on 6 days rest based on 42.2 innings 3.38 ERA. Would Not count on this

my bad....i stand corrected...he has pitched pretty good this year thus far although his team record is 2-5 and he has only averaged 6 innings per start....i watched pretty much his entire career in boston and got pretty tired of his arrogance and his piss poor pitching after the '07 season with no remorse whatsoever....regardless i should have checked before i made an inaccurate statement....i suspect the 2-5 team record may have something to do with his teammates thinking he is a prick....speculation on my part
