Happy it's tipoff already, my favorite league by far.
Jazz +5.5 1.1/1
Jazz ML .5/.975
Call me a bandwagon guy if you want but I'm really high on the Jazz this year. I think the Hayward injury has no net impact, as they have absurd depth and a left hand injury means he can stay in half decent shape for the couple weeks he's out. Favors is dicey to play, but honestly I don't think it matters tonight. I think this team has the better defense, better depth, and have a chip on their shoulder coming into the season. Taking them as a road dog in what I feel is a 50/50 game against a division "rival."
Knicks 1h +5.5 1.1/1
The emotion of seeing the banner raised and rings handed out is just too much for this specific team in this specific city. Lebron has said himself he's still not full go after how hard he went last June (hard to blame him), and the Knicks are going to be throwing out completely new lineups which the Cavs haven't seen. As a fan of the team I'm not particularly high on this Knicks team, but expect them to hang around in a sluggish first half for Cleveland where they're happy exchanging buckets.
Gonna be out of town for the next couple weeks, so will be getting back after it fully in NBA when I'm back - don't mind allowing for some situations to set themselves up too, don't like relying entirely on my subjective opinion early in the season before any of these teams can establish anything. GL guys!
