Houston plays Chicago off a SU & ATS win vs GDS.

love it, and hope this line doesn't get ridiculous. Don't forget that SA slaughtered Denver on tnt at denver a couple months back. couple in with off an OT W, from GS to Denver, should be an ugly final
 
Denver in the dreaded overly obvious situational spot. Off an OT win on the road and then playing at Denver is no longer a sharp fade spot like it was a few years ago. Now it's a fade spot for every square bettor around. Still, Spurs have some 30+ bodies in there and they might collapse if they fall down 10 or so.
 
A note on the Spurs SU win streak sitting at 4 games, in relation to all those 30+ year old bodies

This season the Spurs have had win streaks of 6, 5, 4, 4, 4, 4 & 3 games (incl. their current streak) -

The 6 game streak: last 2 opponents were Minnesota (4-17 SU headed into said game) & Oklahoma (2-22 SU headed into said game)

The 5 games streak: last opponent was Memphis (won in double OT)

These streaks ended variously @Nawlins, @Houston, @Lakers, vs Milwaukee, vs Denver & vs Orlando

From the above can be observed 2 things...

(1) for the Spurs old bodies to extend win streaks beyond 4 games has required them to be scheduled dire opponents (and even then 2 were only just seen off, by 5 pts & double OT).

(2) in 5 of 6 instances (Milwaukee excepted - you'd have to think they simply took 'em lightly in a home game they lost by 2 pts), the Spurs haven't been able to extend streaks of form when it came to facing decent opponents (Denver having already played that role once, but Parker & Ginobli were absent for that home game)


Here the Spurs sit on a 4 game win streak, and face what must be recognised as a decent opponent. The Spurs also face Boston in their next game, making the odds even lower they match their other longest win streak of this season. Their 5th & 6th opponents here have a combined SU season win mark of 71-25 SU, compared to 27-67 SU owned by their 5th & 6th opponents from that 6 win streak.
 
To add further misery to the above observations, the Spurs completed win streaks have incl. the following number of road games -

games won - road games
6 - 3
5 - 1
4 - 1
4 - 2
4 - 2
3 - 2​

And they have had only one 4 game win streak extend to 5 or more games when the 5th game was a road game (at 4-17 SU Minnesota)

Their current 4 game win streak includes 3 road games, and their next 2 games are road games. So to match their highest win streak of the season would require them to post 5 road wins, when no previous win streak they've had this season has included more than 3 road wins.
 
Compound Spurs misery more?

They've covered their last 3 road games ATS. 3 times previously this season they've won 3 road games ATS, only to lose the next one everytime (@Houston, Nawlins & Philly)

agree with everyone with the spurs situation, they are on b2b and off an ot win but the spurs are a bit different now, they have this youth movement going on and are deeper compared before

not sure about the cavs vs raps, the whole other forum (c***rs) are on the raps, the points will definitely get your attention but boy hard to fade the undefeated team at home who blows out anyone at home

My only problem with the Sixer ml is that I am expecting Knicks ml against Boston after the Laker game and before Spurs. Can I really play for twice. Maybe. Got down for 2 units on Denver minus 4.5. The second unit was placed as they went into ot at the Greek. Have over 198 for 1 unit and Bulls first half plus 4 so far.

an average of 101 a game


I think that Cleveland will run the floor tonight and make it 23-0 at home

I like Cleveland team total over ??(im guessing 103-104)
 
Is Rose playing tonight?

If so i like Chicago and their mini win streak they have going to at least cover against Houston...Houston has to many injuries to cover this high of a spread considering they both score about 98-99 points a game

I don't give credit to Chi's mini win streak, because they're off W's from REALLY BAD TEAMS playing with either a fully disabled team or against teams with many internal problems. Houston should have their full lineup together and should start their roll from this homestand.
