I like the Bobcats getting 5.5 at home. No way Dallas should be favored by more than two baskets on the road. I have watched the Mave play every game (nBA pass is so sick for gambling but interferes so much with school haha). They do not deserve this, but the public will be all over Dallas....big play for me

Off the top of my head I know there is a great angle to bet against the Knicks here, but I'm not sure how I'm going to approach it yet. Knicks completely ran out of gas against Dallas and have two days off after Bos to get ready for two very winnable games. If this was the first game since they got beat by 45 by the C's I'd lay off. They had 3 opportunities to beat BOS after that game last year and lost all 3 including one w/out Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. BOS has Detroit on Thursday, but I don't expect any look ahead on their part. I don't like the idea of laying 11 so I'll probably have to find another angle, but I do think Boston handles the Knicks with relative ease.

Really like Charlotte as well for other reasons. Probably like taking the points with Jersey with Det on deck. Nets playing good ball with Harris back. Problem here is that Lebron is going to want to put on a show for Jay Z who will surely be in attendance. It sucks when rap icons are affecting my plays in the NBA.

Really the only 3 that I had made future notes on. Be looking at the rest of the card this evening.

J Lebron always wants to in NJ, but for some reason VC surprisingly shows up for these as well. Same spot as last year around this time.

Will have some color later, but love NJ here.

yeah waiting on that as well. Got the Lakers.bulls under here as well, hit small, thinking it may go up

Player issues :

Toronto- Calderon PG QUESTIONABLE

Miami - Wade Probable Sprained ankle though

Wiz - Daniels - Expected to Miss

Bobacts - Richardson Expected to Miss more time

Atlanta - Smith OUT and ZaZa Questionable

Boston- KG Suspended

NYK- Q dealing with upper respitory infection might still be less then 100%

NJ - Jarvis Hayes Day to Day

Sac- Kevin Martin likely out to Friday

Bucks- Redd questionable and Villanueva day to day

LAL- Radmonvic day to day :shake:

I prefer Calderone to sit out. One of the more overrated pgs in the NBA.

the raptors need a solid backup point-guard with experience, like a lindsey hunter.

but man, if they would have held on to billups when they had him back in the day, this team would be so dangerous.

Dallas @ Charlotte :

The question is does the comeback win @ NYK vs a team they have owned in the past create some momentum for the Mavs ?? Probably look at the UNDER here as well. Dallas wants to play fast like the Kinicks so it was a perfect matchup . Charlotte much more methodical team who has struggled shooting and relied on chances at the FT line. Charlotte has scored 85 or less in 4 of 7 home games the exceptions were WINS vs Utah 104(34/73) , Miami 100(37/69 yikes!!!) and NOH 92(28/67). Well Utah they were 31/38 on FTs, NOH 29/31, and Miami 21/32. So 3 wins 92-104 and 4 losses 85 and less . Mavs do allow 27 FTs last 5 and 26 on the road. On Wed the Mavs have a 6 in 9 spot @ Houston who already thumped them at home. Both teams have been terrible in the 2nd H so far . Bobacts though depending on what line you had vs Det have now won every 1st H . The Det game comes into question as the line was chopped in half from 6 to 3 and some may have had +1.5 on the 1st h which ended with CHAR down 2 so some may have won at +2.5 or +3...

Atlanta @ Indy : Home team has ruled the series and hard to look at anything but an UNDER looking at ATLs defensive stats since the Josh Smith injury . Indy offensive has struggled but already shorthanded Granger missed game and Murphy missed 1 or 2 as well . The pace was there vs Chi but nothing fell late in the 2nd H . Possible 1st H lean to the over .

Miami @ Wash : Wiz had 3 full days off since losing badly @ Miami . Miami just blew a lead @ Toronto and hosts Toronto the next day . No great reasoning but think Wash wins here . Miami only 1-4 on the road beating a fatigued SA team who lost Parker early on . Wade has a sprained ankle which is never really something to dismiss.

Cle @ NJN: Huge difference with Harris in the lineup . Det on deck for CLE and struggled to beat Utah and Denver at despite the 10 or so pt wins ...Even though NJ beat a fatigued ATL squad still lean them.

Thats what I have so far

Great thoughts, but I want to offer one quick warning. When you get ready to hit submit with Washington take a look at the Clippers. Same team different conference. Read that Jamison called out his teammates, but not sure it matters. Similar to when Philly was struggling and had three days off to practice. Thought they'd come out ready to roll and instead got rolled. Wizards starting a 4/5 and if they have actually figured anything out there will be plenty of time to play them before the books adjust. Falling knife.

Just to let you guys know. Redd and Villanueva both are out again

Was curious and did a 4th quarter replay of the last Bobcat game. 1 minute and 1 second to go Magic are up by 9 with the ball. After 19 seconds Turkoglu misses a 3. 6 seconds later the Bobcats get a 2. 23 seconds later Turkoglu misses a 2. 6 seconds later the Bobcats get a 2 leaving 6 seconds in the game. The game ends. Turkoglu misses his last 3 shots.
So far the Bobcats have won 3 home games. Been beaten su and ats in 3 and covered vs the Magic. The 3 wins were Heat in a b-b who Never win there and NO who is playing very bad and Utah playing without many of their players
Tend to think Dallas is certainly the better team. They have played in many bad spots this season. Consider the 2 point loss to Orlando at home playing worst 4 in 6 a pretty good effort and the win at Knicks excellent. After they play the Bobcats tomorrow the next day in a worst 5 of 7 they play at Houston. Their smallest margin of victory in their 3 wins was ten. The spread is 5.5. No interest in the Bobcats but could imagine playing Dallas. Also CLIPPERS SUCK

Would think Knicks and Chicago pretty reasonable dogs. Boston 1-5 ats last 6 games. Both teams in Laker game playing with 2 days rest. Chicago has fought hard in 1 road game and covered almost winning. The other 2 were not pretty but this is the start of a 7 game road trip with NO easy games The classic no where to run for what is actually a pretty good team.. No where to hide. Will look at referees and consider playing dogs in NJ, LA and Boston if I see some helpful officials and large spreads. Did I mention Dallas has been rebounding very well and CLIPPERS SUCK. May have to remove Knicks because of reduced spread. J may be right here. Simple fact operates here. Knicks have yet to cover a game when they lose. Would seem to make them a ml play only and I doubt I would do that. Boston might be the better option.

Going to go sleep. Short some stocks in the morning and maybe buy 2 posters saying CLIPPERS SUCK and one saying BARON DAVIS FOR PRESIDENT.

I lied. Also real interest in Bucks. This is tricky because Denver would like to nail this team I suspect but Bucks are playing with 2 days rest and have covered 8 of their last 10 games while Denver is still dealing with a horrible schedule that includes a game at Spurs the next night. Just something to think about along with CLIPPERS SUCK. That was my last official Clipper vent :smiley_acbe:

Thanks JPicks . I will be overly cautious since I have been on the wrong side of every close game for awhile now .

Would agree Tuck with all your comments minus the Bulls game because I havent checked . Boston is something like 1-6 as favorites as the defense really seems to be getting worse. Since Boston has been slow starters and NYK tends to fade in the 2nd H then might be interested more in NYK 1st H . Also agree with Dallas I do lean them as well but stuck on the fact I played just about every CHAR 1st H home game this year . Do I want to chance it again and play Dal full game or do I want to roll 1st H and hope I am correct then really pound the Mavs 2nd H ?? Decisions , Decisions and LAC sucks ......

1st Pinnacle column supposed to be the opener..

1. For mavs, Gonna wait till HT, and hopefully they are down 4-6 pts and take them for 2nd half. Seems to be the trend for Cha win 1st and lose 2nd half. One Interesting thing I saw, mavs playing hou next. Tmac s out and ron ron is ?Who will score for them? Landry and brook?

2. Boston with no KG? I would lean over and knicks here. Garnett is their pillar of defense. thinking line owuld be 8-9. Too much for pierce and allen to get into a shootout with them.

3. Cavs same as reason mavs. but this I highly doubt.

4. Leaning GS, Portland may be big, but slow.Like that magette is back and drawing lotsa foul.

Two first thoughts - Bobcats ML - no way is the tired Mavs worth such low odds and Bobcats with 3.00 odds at home against possibly lottery team??? I take it every time.

Second and probably the biggest bet tonight, Pacers with the line or ML as well. Why should they lose???

Cant bet Dallas yet, especially on the road. It seems Char likes to slow down the game and play defense ala Larry Brown. For the exception of the Knicks game, Dallas hasn't been able to put together a successful 48 minutes for awhile. How much does the Cuban news cloud this team? Revenge game @ Houston the next night.

Char or pass.

Atlanta/Indiana

The SMith injury has finally take its tole, I think fast paced teams will give Atlanta trouble. Atlanta hasnt won in Indiana since 06 and that was an OT game. Indiana in there first game @ home since a recent road trip. I expect Indiana to come out early, like always, will probably take them 1st quarter here. Atlanta also goes back home after just finishing a home n home against NJ, they have Wash/Char on deck, and then they go to Cleveland on Saturday..

Orlando/Toronto

Orlando starting to put together a few nice wins. Toronto played a good game and came back and beat a Miami squad they get in a few days. How focused is this team being in Orlando/South beach for 3 days. Is there focus on getting revenge after Orlando knocked them out of the playoffs or fucking supermodels @ Mansion? Agree with T on the Calderon statement. I was a big Ford guy, not a huge fan of Calderon. If both teams are shooting well, this game could be a shoot out. Big matchup with Bosh and D-howard. Lean hard on Toronto with the revenge factor. If they lose to Orlando here, there next win may come on the 26th. Must win game min this short time little 5 game set.

Washington/Miami
Heres a perfect example of why betting many sports can sometimes fuck u. I was knee deep in NFL/CFF this weeekend that I didnt realize D-wade got a bumb ankle, and missed the revenge spot -1. Wait to here D status, and have to make sure Washington isnt in fact The Clippers of the East. I think J makes a valid point about these two teams. Wait and see game here. If Wades out strong look at the over here, I know the total will drop if he is out, but Miami will probably shoot 20-25 3's if he is out. Over has traditionally been strong for Wash. Like I said a wait and see game. I wouldnt be surprised if D doesnt make the trip with a impending 3 game home stand on deck. No reason to rush D back with injuries, I think we saw what happened last year when they did. There only win away from South Beach this year was @ SA the night TP went down. Want to pound this game....but wait and see.

NYK/Boston
First gut reaction was to take the points @ 11 when it opened....New York if they can make there shots can stay in many games, but the cold streaks they can go on will kill them against an good defensive team.....have to see what they put it back up cuz no KG. I dont think Boston is invisible this year, young athletic teams could give them fits.

NJ/Cleveland
NJ is a completely different team when Devon Harris is healthy. Historically NJ has dominated this series, they won 3/4 last year. 1 game LBJ was hurt and cleveland had the oppurtunity at revenge twice and they lost both times SU. I remember this because each game for me was 5 units, and I lost them both...many that bet will remember this game. Cleveland off two big games at home against Den/Utah, with Det on deck the next night. Lebron was quoted as saying he loves Cleveland, and Cleveland is home, but he always seems to audition well for Jigga...but VC usually shows up here as well, Last year it was Jefferson who showed up as well...something like an average of 25ppg...obviously no Jefferson now, but Harris fills the void quite well. Looking for NJ to show there a solid team, for there future star...

Memphis/Sac

Tough game to digest. Me thinks Sac win's SU here after a couple tough losses against Det/SA...but Memphis has revenge...but Memphis laying 5.5 to anyone is :seeya:

Bucks/Denver
Denver travels to SA and LA after this before returning home to face Chicago..Bucks on a mini road trip with Den/Utah on deck...no doubt they go to Utah and get steam rolled, so this game looks to be there most competitive. Bucks are 1-7 ATS there last 8 @ Denver.

Portland/GSW

Last game of a grueling 8 day road trip. Where they have gone 4/5 only losing a very close game to NO. They go home and play Chicago tomorrow night...so do they mail this one in? Not sure home team and favorite have dominated this series last few years..
This is how I see these games playing out, interesting angle for these 3 teams, as all 3 run into each other over the next 5 days.

GSW beats Portland
Portland beats Chicago
Chicago beats GSW.

Lakers/Chicago
Chi-town starts there west coast cirlce jerk trip tonight. Lakers have rest and come in off there embarrassing first loss of the season. Lakers play defense extremely well, and Chicago relies on the jump shot. They wont get alot of 2nd chance shots, with the way LA rebounds. and I expect LA to be able to do alot of offense against Chicago. If Chicago isnt hitting at least 45% from the field, I cant see this game even being close. LA beat them by DD both times last year, 12 is a ton of points in this league though.

Good stuff fellas.

KNicks and Raptors lines are out as well.

Knicks +8.5 and Raptors +6.5

I just took the over 192 in the Magic game. Surprisingly low # and I saw it moving. Not going to start a thread until later once I figure out what all I"m playing.

This is what I got so far

Nets +6
Lakers/Bulls under 197.5
Bullets -2.5
Raps/Orlando Over 192.5
Raps +6.5

I'll be at the Warrior game tonite, and FYI, the Warriors are like 1-8 when I go to their games. Same thing with the Raiders. I think they're 1-7 when I've been to their games. :hang:

Think he elbowed Bogut in the chin or something stupid. Didn't ever see it.

I watched it. He slapped Bogut after Bogut unintentionally slapped him first (it was obviously unintentional) and Bogut got ejected for it, Garnett got a technical, but it seems they wanted to pursue this some more.

Warriors will go 2-8 now

You have season tickets for the Raiders?

Regarding Laker referees They are moderately directed to the under and 16-5 directed to the home team ats. Denver strong under referees.

Nah I just get tix when I feel like going. That's not all in the same season, over the last 3 years. Warriors line went from GS being -1 to Port -2. Fuck, maybe they caught wind of me being there. LOL.
