Been out of the loop for a bit, but what I can see is:

Does Detroit rebound at home and beat Toronto by DD?

That Denver line is really interesting.

Phoenix, Detroit, and Houston total?

Memphis +2?

wiz and grizz look good

only other side id think about touching are the raps.

nuggets doggin it in the ATL is very surprising.

I'm not going to be surprised if Denver goes 0-2 SU in this little 2 game roadie. You can count on AI playing hard, but there isn't another player on that team that I truly think gives a shit in the end. Just a chance for most of those guys to get out of the snow in Denver and enjoy some warmer weather and the strip clubs in ATL.

I'd be careful with the Wiz as motivation and energy may be difficult to come by after playing the C's two straight. Beyond that they have NY at home after a days rest to get their revenge if needed. Tough spot imo.

I also can't bet against the Cavs going back to .500%. Not interested in CLE either, but just wanted to point out the .500% record part. Guranteed the players know about it.

I think I read last week about the Raptors playing to stay above .500. Didn't pay attention to the results, but that was the first I'd heard of it, and now that you mention it with regard to the Cavs, it makes a lot of sense.

Just feel like the Grizz will be able to outscore the cavs. And when I look at the line what comes to mind is what the average bettor must think to themselves when they see that line "King James is only -2 on the road vs the shitty ass grizzlies. Thats a LOCK"

definitely going to wait to see what happens with tonights wiz-celtic game.

as for the raptors, on second thought, maybe the pistons come out for blood tomorrow and blow em out by 30. Raps are playin well which is why I like the line. I just wish i knew what happened with the pistons-knicks game. Must have just been one of those games....

My exact thoughts on that game!

Hoped to see Det at a lower number, say 7. Fuck 9.5, no thx. Grizz will be nice if number stays put. Pubes should indeed pound LeBrons.

Chicago deserves a solid look.

Orlando plays better away than at home...

Chicago is 7-11 ats OTR, looks bad, but look into the #s a bit and you see they started out 1-8 ats in there first 9.

In the next 10 the went 6-4, break that down a bit they lost @ Boston, San Antonio, Indiana, and Atlanta. All of these games were DD losses. You could say the Spurs, and Boston loss are legit, Indy and Atlanta games as straight up bad performances.

Chicago has the revenge factor if that means anything from there NYE game against Orlando @ the united Center.

Play on the under as well.

Line opened @ 7, got pushed down to 6.5, figure 6 by gametime.

with the way the present results stand for the games still going on right now (3 Dogs ahead ATS to 1 Fav), that would make the current trend thread ATS run 17-4 to the Dog which is pretty stiff, considering for the season as a whole neither side has been ahead of the other by much (it stands at Fav -127 to Dog +133 before today's results).

maybe ungrounded for some, but I'd say the tide will turn to the Favs before tomorrow is finished. An "all dog" day (say, 6-2 over 8 games) would take the present run to 23-6, which would be amongst the highest on record, hence unlikely.

In short, I expect a balance of favs to show up tomorrow (8 games, say roughly 4 favs ATS minimum).

Thats true, Bucs. If the current favs down ATS all turned things around, the picture could change very quickly. But short of that happening, the present run will remain a Dog one, and be at a very stiff number, with all the normal indicators at the "saturation points" that call for a run change.

Bet thanks for bringing this up. I was out of the country for a week and saw some scores a couple nights in passing over the last 5 days and noticed that alot of Teams that won, which I presumed would be dogs. Then I notice tonight the trend has continued. I only played one play tonight Lakers 1st quarter, and that lost.

As I type this Id say Lakers and Dallas should cover. Detroit seems as if they have cooled off a bit, the same could be said for Boston.

NBA has cooled off incredibly, cant March and April get here please

I know some people will want to back NY after Washington Beat Boston on a Home in Home in 3 days.

Let down factor?

NY slaughtered Detroit yesterday.

Let down Factor?

Both teams off huge wins, would suggest an under type game, except Wash's 2 wins and NYK's win were already very low scoring games, making such a play "too easy". And those 2 teams together could dish up 220 without blinking if they're in the mood for it.

Bet....understand what your saying...Really like your style of capping btw... should of said i havent entered all the stats from tonites games into my program ...so my Denver and Rocket picks are only early predictions..

Before anybody goes betting on the Sixers tomorrow take a look at this boxscore. It wasn't that close thru most of the game with Philly up close to 30 heading into the 4th. Will the favor be returned?

I LOVE the colors, Marlo...much, MUCH better than some other threads started by others (I won't mention their names, but their initals are B.A.R.)

B2B off giving the champs a hurry-up as well?

and Houston off a home loss to boot?

with the trend thread calling at least for some home covers, if not (yet) favs?

where do I sign up?:36_11_6:

exactly BC. I had to go searching for a fav and that would be my favorite of the day. (no pun intended) If somehow PHI would have been able to pull of the SU I would have bet my house and yours on it. :) They got their rest from that brutal trip, but the reality of being on the road should set in again tomorrow.

Found this quote on hoopshype:

Tracy McGrady limped away from the carnage early in the second half with a sprained right ankle, and Yao blasted away when it was over, calling the Rockets soft. "It was the lowest point of our season," Yao said of the 100-88 loss. It might also have been the night the Rockets hit rock bottom and began to scratch and claw their way back to respectability. "I know that game hit me," Yao said. "I think that game hit the whole team. I think maybe it is a game that stays with everyone. I don't think anybody can forget it, and it has made us a different team now." Houston Chronicle
