at first glance im lovin the ChiSox and Rockies both as dogs tomorrow

Reyes had some finger injury I recall need to check up on that . ATL struggling on the road and kendrick has been decent at home from what I recall...day off vs team who played two?? though back from the West Coast for Philly...thinking about Philly.....

Maine ? and Under? Dont think I can lay that price though was really expecting like 160...Lannan still getting lil credit...under might be reasonable...might

Cards despite lohse last few not sure time to jump back on his wagon...

Milw looks interesting as LAD doesnt hit RHP very well and just got swept at home yet is road chalk ...I di dcall Pennys tough outing vs NYM...

SFG maybe with Cain ...fade Backe away usually and Huston not much from the LH side of the batters box....

Definetly think I like Boston...Guthrie is better away and he wasnt so sharp last time..

Wang I am !

Over @ Texas as I also said King Felix's pitch count is a concern of late though he did settle down after a few rough early innings...seattle used to be #1 avg vs LHP not so sure anynore and well Gabbard got charged by Sexson....bad blood?? Just hate overs after to such high scoring games for Texas....

Litsch has really pitched well and I might be interested.....

really nothing more then a glance should be aroundlate , late afternoon....

Jo Jo Reyes left his last start with a blister... Philly lost 2 of 3 to the Giants in San Francisco.

...i agree Litsch has been very good this year, but i'm not sure i can fade the hott bats in H-town (never thought i'd say that!)

I like your Cain play much better. I see Boston at best as a small favorite. Plenty of room to play Baltimore getting those odds. Florida had their streak broken. Time to get pounded as Mark does not look in form right now. Maybe the Rockies. Arizona hitting is slumping and Owing seems to be at best a mild loser at home.

Lets address Baltimore a little more. They are currently 19-19 so a loss would put them under 500. They had yesterday off and have been playing well. The spectacle of Minnesota whaling on Boston was I am sure quite stimulating. The idea that 10-12 Boston on the road is going to have an easy time at 10-6 at home Baltimore may be unlucky. Honestly I like this card. I think there will be many playable games.

tuck,

Each year Boston seems to dominate the Orioles, and despite the good start, I don't see that stopping. I'm starting to really like the Yanks-Rays UNDER, and/or the Sox-O's OVER.

I may duck Baltimore. Not because of the things that have been mentioned. Beckett this year on the road is 2-2 and his team is playing very poorly. But I am a little worried about that 7-0 record on Tuesday which is legitimate sports data. It will hinge on the record of the umpire I imagine. Probably will put something on Baltimore in either case but before I invest real money I may need a friendly ump.

I like Baltimore because they are a home dog, but Camden Yards isn't much of a homefield advantage. Add to the mix that it is Beckett we are talking about fading, and I just don't know if I can bet on this home dog getting less than 1.6:1 on my money.

If anyone remembers last year.. i was at the game.. beckett went up against guthrie and the O's blew like a 5-0 lead in the top of the 9th or some shit. The Orioles have not really had trouble putting up runs against Beckett and aganist most righties for that matter from what i have noticed. Last year Perlozzo pulled Guthrie in like the 8th inning at like 105 pitches after an error and he had done quite well up until then the bullpen blew it. this is another year however so i really dont pay much attention to that game last year.. nice price on Balti however like was said above they just cant seem to get it done against Boston - against NYY however we usually take 2 out of 3 or 4 .. hmm

Riding the TB train until the wheels fall off. I went to the game last night and this Yankee team is in bad shape at the moment. Injuries, no hitting and questionable starting pitching are some of the issues this team is facing. Oddly enough they are still hanging around .500. The biggest thing I saw was in the Yankee dugout. No emotion at all. They were getting their ass beat last night and there was nothing they could do about it. TB is on a high and have been playing real well. Their pitching has been ridiculous shutting out LAA twice last week and giving up one run last night. Wang is the Yanks ace but he does need help on offense too. Wang will need a great performance to get past the hot Rays. Lastly, it seems that TB owns the Yankees at home over the years. I realize that it is a different team and year but some things haven't changed. TB makes it personal for some reason when the Yanks come to town and seem to get up for them as if it's the World Series. Hoping the NYY name will get me to about +130. I'll take my chances with the hot team at + money.

Have made 2 first 5 bets. Greinke for obvious reasons. Cain is more involved. It seems likely that Houston is the better team and quite hot right now so betting against them is suspect. But in 4 road games this season Backe has gotten a total of 3 runs in support this year first 5. Using 1 game from last year for equal number of games betting Cain first 5 would produce a 2-1-1 record that would be much better than the full game results. Looking at the last 2 Astro wins in late innings just reinforces the potential value here. Regarding the Yankee game I have not made up my mind yet but would point out that this is Wang on 5 days rest which is very hard to beat but then TB at home is also awesome.

Cubs hitting the hell out of the ball and have been hitting lefties this year. This is the kind of lineup Marquis can have success against. I think I might lay the 1.5.

Brewers hitting RHP much better lately than Dodgers. Villanueva has been solid at Miller. Like the reverse line move also.

Lean for Reds. Very productive vs. LHPs, even more so at Smallpark.

Cards seem a little more productive vs. LHP. Have to see if Pujos is in.
I think Lohse gets back in the grove at Busch. He held better lineups in check (like Stros) at Busch than Pirates.

Lean Giants first 5 also, but Stros are tough to fade right now. Berkman sandwiched by Tejada & Lee has worked wonders, and Pence is waking up.

A's almost even money. More productive lineup vs. RHP & better pen, but not sure if there is still value on them, however line drop is tough to ignore.

Not sure what to think of Gabbard. LHP matchup better for Ms, and their bats are waking up a bit. I have a hunch Kid is out to make a statement tonight.

Gabbbard has been battling a sore back and has struggled to produce innings. Would be careful there because both bullpens have put in heavy work recently and Hernandez always eats innings.

No Francona for Boston tonight or tomrrow - mother-in-law died out in Arizona on Monday night and he's out of town for the forseeable future.

Gabbbard has been battling a sore back and has struggled to produce innings. Would be careful there because both bullpens have put in heavy work recently and Hernandez always eats innings.

Gabbard's last 2 starts are a bit misleading. He left with an injury in the first start and then had Sexson sit on his head and hurt him in his 2nd. There's a lot of bad blood between these 2 teams right now and the Rangers have been hitting the ball well. Gabbard's three non-injury starts saw him have 2 QS and be one out from a third. The injury concern is certainly real, but he is pitching well. I think the Rangers will be extra motivated against King Felix tonigh, but not sure how Felix will respond after the brawl last time around.

Greinke catches my eye this eve against the Tigers. Robertson is not pitching all that well and the Royals have a solid history against him, and are hitting lefties better than righties. The Tigers have hit Greinke pretty well, but he has a way of minimizing big hits.

I have to think the Under between Seattle and Texas should be a play. Both pitchers are going to be motivated. There is bad blood which will probably result in hitters trying to do too much early in the count. Plus both of these pitchers could shut down the other side entirely. I don't see any reason 10 runs are scored in this one.

EDIT:Just checked the weather in this game. The wind will be blowing in from right field at 11-16 mph with a 40% chance of rain. The wind is good for the under but a rain delay at the wrong time could be a problem.

So far in his early career Kendrick has given his team a chance to win especially when at home. Philly was 9-2 last year in his home starts and 1-1 so far this season. So far both his home starts where on 6 days rest which he is here. Last year he did have better splits on normal rest but with a small sample zise I think the real indicator or factor has been home or away not days bewteen starts.

So far Philly is 10-3 in Game 1s of Series this year. They return home in an offensive funk and dropped last 2 @ SF. However they had yesterday off while ATL played a DH in Pittsburgh which isnt as close to Philly as one might think. Kendricks clear weakness is LHB and Teixiera is OUT here. He will face 4 LHB , 2RH and 2 SWH.

Braves are 7-19 in their last 26 road games vs. a right-handed starter.
Braves are 5-16 in their last 21 road games.
Phillies are 16-5 in their last 21 Tuesday games.
Phillies are 25-9 in their last 34 during game 1 of a series.
Phillies are 14-5 in Kendricks last 19 starts as a favorite.
Reyes left his last start early with a blister. In my years of pitching one of the worst things I could do when I got a blister which was pitch 5 days later. So he claims the skin was just raw but wjo knows I dont like the spot for him . Carylye could see 1st action out of the pen if early....

Think based on the situation , the trends , the poor road play fo ATL coupled with teixiera's absence make Philly a reasonable play..1unit maybe add some -1.5RL...

Since it seems to work in bunches might play the over total runs today...we have seen more and more runs each day recently but due to rain No OVER yet in the GS....and beautiful day out...

Still working on the rest at 7 Pm...
