Tuesday are we done with home openers Discussion

Meatballin' in Celtics Stadium
Crowd was electric in Pittsburgh today, much to my chagrin

leans from the BOL open (current):
CHW +119 (+125)
TEX +102 (+108)
DET +111 (+113)

on the radar:
MIA +100/u7.5 -120 (-125)
NYM u6.5 -105 (-130)
SD u6.5 -105 (+100)
COL +130 (+141)
OAK -113
BOS -110 (-114)

Did lean Mia, Cahill 1st start season some fish bats with numbers, but Koehler is awful on 5 days

like Dbacks/Pads under 6', A's, O's (-1 RL or in ML parlay), Cubs FF (RL or in ML parlay). Masterson looks tempting too. lean under on most of the games other than Arlington.

11-6 +2.70 units.
Washington +104
Tough spot for Boston, think they might be flat. I'll take stras over masterson . Werth back.

Matt Andriese, RHP (24) - It's becoming more notable in the Rays system if a top pitching prospect does not have a projection toward the bullpen, which is surely why the Rays acquired Andriese this off-season. His throwing motion is across the body, which adds deception but takes away command, and his promotion to Triple-A last seaon was not smooth; however, he has solid control of four pitches - mid-90's sinker, harsh curve, off-speed splitter, and a cutter (for lefties) - that profile him for the rotation. Above average control, 55% groundball rate, just needs to settle into Durham's rotation.

  • Nationals are 3-11 in Strasburgs last 14 Tuesday starts.

Going back to July 1, 2014, Strasburg has allowed 3 runs in 22.2 IP in that situation (1.19 ERA). Nats went 2-1 SU in those games with the loss coming in a 3-0 shutout versus Alvarez at Miami.

medina and rodney did not work last night, so that's two solid RHP available. Furbush only 2 pitches

Dodgers also used four relievers each the last two nights, combining for a total of 101 pitches thrown. Since last season they are 15-8-3 to the over when they used more than three dudes out of the pen in each of their last two games. When you narrow it down to consecutive games with zero rest in between you get 11-1-2 to the over. Their guy David Huff isn't supposed to go past four innings tonight. Also, Chavez has been the most prolific park for overs since last season. I also thought it was weird to be able to get Iwakuma so cheaply against a dude not having made a start since 2013..

Mariners 0-2 SU this season when they face left-handed starters. They scored a grand total of zero runs in those two games. Hopefully they hit this dude tonight, and if not, then hopefully they hit some off the bullpen. I took o7.5 -105.

good stuff austin...seatt hasn't hit anybody so far this year and iwakuma got hit around a little in his first start thus the line...but i think (not sure) that he is pretty good off a loss...i like seatt as well and your trends/stats for the over are also supported by the seatt pen that has been poor ytd although small sample

Iwakuma hasn't allowed a run in a NL ballpark yet. He's started three games in National League ballparks and allowed zero runs in 22 innings pitched (@STL, @ATL, and @PHI).

iwakuma looked terrible in start #1, think that's why the line is so low in addition to the M's rain or shine offense

Furbush that's like double indemnity......I wonder what Mrs. Furbush looks like....then again that puts a bad image in my mind...
