First thoughts are Dallas and Minny. Won't do anything about the game in Portland before Dallas and Portland finish their tonight's games, but Minny... They should have Rubio back, they finally started to play well at home, they should be much bigger favorites than -2 here imo. My line here is -3.5 or even -4 maybe.

Lakers shouldn't be favorites on the road against team at the moment. Wouldn't go near this game with Kobe's announcement on one hand and Sixers facing new record on the other, but Sixers got some value I believe (as much as a team that have yet to win this season can have value, with only one point in their favor).

The Wizards are a mess and I don't see it getting better tomorrow. Gortat saying that it's not even fun coming to work anymore. Cleveland is on fire and has 2 days off after this game while the wiz play the lakers at home on Wednesday.

I don't know why he said it. He is one of the better Wizards so far and this is a core of players that is together for sometime now and it always appeared that they have good chemistry. Not to mention that Beal and Wall look like really good guys...
I think he were talking about everyone too upset about losing or maybe I just hope it to be so. I like this team.

Btw, now thinking about it, Sixers have extra motivation to lose tonight. They get LAL's pick in the draft, if it's not a Top 3 pick. LAL winning will help them to get that draft pick... I honestly wonder if they are thinking about it, at least upstairs in the front office...

Of course they are

To go down in history as the team with the worst start in the NBA history, just to maybe improve their chances to get that pick, by losing one game out of 82? I would have been focused on the W, but that's me...

One win might cause a winning streak! And with the way the lakers are playing they might not win 10 games! Philly can't take chances like that.

Early lean to Washington based on the refs as well as a possibly look ahead by Cleveland to NO

By the way Cleveland this year is 0-3 ATS on 2 days rest.
Pacers are on a 11 game winning streak I believe on 2 days rest ATS
Fear the Sword is calling for a 20 point win. Washington is playing off a 4 game losing streak. Will be on Washington just a question of small , average or large.
Refs
3-11 for the home team
3-11 for the home team
3-6-1 for the home team and a strong bias toward the under

Washington getting 8.5 or higher has lost 12 in a row with 4 covers.
This season Cleveland laying 8.5 or higher is 1-4.
Probably a small bet

No immediate opinions in the Suns game.

Phoenix: 17-4 ATS as a road favorite of 6 points or less
Brooklyn: 15-5 OVER in home games after covering 4 of their last 5
Very curious about Chandler and the fact that after this game the Suns play at DETROIT
I am seeing Tyson listed as doubtful. Its really hard for the Suns to even pretend to play good d without him
Certainly no reason based on team histories for these teams to like each other.
Refs somewhat under but definite over lean.

Huh? How could you not like the Suns tonight? So many things are in their favor.

Of course they are

No doubt in my mind the front office is thinking about it. The players I have to think are way more concerned with getting a win. As bad as the Sixers are the players are still among the top 1% in the world and there's pride in that. Nobody likes setting records for losing.

? Today is a fairly good day for both teams.
Tomorrow the Suns play at Detroit in a revenge game on Wednesday
12-8 SU and 13-7 ATS
Detroit has poor history but is 2-0 SU and ATS on that day this season and have covered 7 in a row vs the Suns and beatem them at the Suns the last 2 times. These teams are both pretty stupid so I am still thinking
By the way the Suns are 10-1 ATS vs Atlantic division opponents last 2 years so they as a side are real possibility

Just bet the Suns and Eastern. Did a small write up for you tuck on Covers, not that you care but wanted to give a little insight why the Suns are the proper side imho. Good luck guys.

well after watching det/hou (mixed in with the c's) and then watching jazz/warriors if i didn't know better i would have thought i was watching two different leagues....houston current form is terrible....utah played their best game of the year and came up short against the warriors who look so good, their offense is so spot on that even when you play really good d against them they seem to score effortlessly...utah played so good i felt sorry for them and was conflicted as i wanted them to get rewarded for their efforts with a win but i wanted gsw to continue the streak....great game and i will be looking to play utah....c's played really good team d against the heat and also distributed the ball extremely well on offense....when they move the ball around in good offensive sets they can win unless it's an elite team....hard to figure when they are going to do that though...wade still great at times but he got tired carrying the load last night....bosh just ain't got it

on to tonight....cavs line seems kinda high but based on current form i don't see how you can play wash....i understand they have some good players but in the two times i have watched them recently they have been dysfunctional and lazy....bad combo when you are going up against a team that plays d like cleve...but it is 9.5 so maybe wait till half and hope it's close

majic coming off a romp of the c's and looked pretty good doing it....c's tried but they couldn't get anything going...regardless majic head into minn to play a team that plays well at home and works hard....seems like the easiest play on the board to me

some interest in nets but there is enough evidence above to continue pondering...

also interest in mem....seems like current form>pels but need to check more

probably gonna take minn at 2 now in case it goes up later....anybody have a feel which way that line may move?

wash has L4 and cleve has won 5/6 and they are rested....recent form would lead you to think cavs could blowout but they don't seem to blow people out...9.5 too much but can't play wash....maybe small play on cleve

not so sure on minn anymore....magic playing really well right now....3W and 4/6 and easily....thinking

more interest in mem...W7/9 and seems to be settling in....played d last game in a game they didn't need to....pels struggling all year but coming off 2 losses....injuries and AD can't do it all himself against that d

i'm off nets and on suns i think....suns lost 7/9 and all to stiff competition except pels....nets playing better recently but too dysfunctional....they do have 2 days off after this game....still think that this is very winnable for suns and the nets should seem easy after the opponents they have faced in the past couple weeks

so Dall L4/5 after W6 and Port W3/4 after L7....both on b2b after getting beat up last night....gotta be some kind of a trend here but I have no idea

After 24 hours, still like Dallas and Minny, so...

Minny been in the same spot as Magic on Sunday. Road game after three wins in a row and lost and Magic I believe will be heading the same way. Minny are better in my opinion and finally found their game at home, after terrible start.
The fact that they have three days of rest after this one, makes me believe they will be really focused, especially after the loss on Sunday. The last things teams want is to go on a long rest after a home loss as favorite...
Magic have decent record and good form, but on the road? Only wins against NO and Philly... Lost last three road games ATS...

Dallas off a loss against Portland... I don't know what to say... Dallas actually plays decent defense this season so far (in the top half) and just so much better than Portland on offense... Should roll.......

Average bet on Cleveland over. Does not agree with refs
This season Cleveland on 2 days rest is 2-1 over and last 3 years is 19-9 over
This season Washington on 2 days rest is 3-0 over and last 3 years is 2-10 over
Cleveland is improved by having 3 days off after this
Washington ???

Regarding Dallas
Dallas on the road on Tuesday
last 6 1-5 SU and 0-6 ATS
Killersports says
SBB’S ATS TREND OF THE DAY:
T
he Mavericks are 0-12-1 ATS (-9.81 ppg) since Dec 11, 2006
with less than two days rest after they had more than 10
refereed turnovers last game.
Vegas experts
Dallas: 70-47 ATS as a road underdog of 3 points or less
Portland: 8-22 ATS off a road loss

Maybe, the flip side to that is nobody likes to be the team that loses to the team that hasn't won a game.

Have some doubts myself but along with refs both Killersports and Vegas experts have separate trends favoring Washington so I am in small

if i wasn't conflicted before i sure am now

FWIW: I think your on the money in the Dallas/Portland game and the line tells me That Lillard will play even though it's still GTD. The NBA should put some type of rule in like the NFL about players playing or not. They know if Lillard is playing or not he's at the gym for hours it's not like he walks in suits up and sees if he can go at GT. Like the play also have a open 4 team parlay with 3 in all ML dogs with one to go. Don't know if I'll use in on Dallas but I'm on them. Good Luck.
