I'm pretty sure that Tuck will play the Suns, but I already played Cleveland and Miami.
I think that Heat play well against small teams and I can't see anyone but Tucker that can even partially slow down LeBron, off one of his worst games this season.

Both teams suck on Tuesday. Suns have lost ATS 5 straight on Tuesday while the Heat away are 2-8 last 10 on Tuesday. Suns have a big edge based on Miami having a game at GS on Wednesday.
I will think about it and do some reading.

Off the top a first quarter over bet might be nice but the GS thing might screw that up

I think that Heat do very well against small teams/ teams without strong big guys. I also think that Heat wouldn't want to go 0 - 3 before ASG break, a real chance, if they lose tonight.
I think that chasing the Heat, can be a good idea and that if they lose tonight, take them tomorrow at PK (or something like that) in Oakland.

I also simply don't get why a team that is 12 - 13 at home (Cleveland) and in great form, gets only one point against terrible road team (6 - 18) in bad form...

We are too busy learning the Suns are small and weak. I wonder if Indiana would agree with that description :hello:

I think they would Tuck. Indiana lost to them, because they are small and shoot three pointers. If Suns would have battled them in the paint, Pacers would have won both games by 50 points I think...

Suns shot from three point line and Pacers couldn't stop them. Pacers struggle against small teams, because they are one of the biggest teams in the league.

Miami also won the Pacers mostly by going small, especially two seasons ago.

Cavs are in great form? i guess winning 2 games in a row makes them great form

a win is a win and the Cavs needed them no matter how they get em- i think we have different ideas of what good form is.

This season as a home dog the Suns are 6-1 ATS in the first half. The one loss was against Dallas where they were down by 2 points. I have some real doubts that Miami wants to really open this up in the first half with GS tomorrow. Suns plus 2 first half.

No way on earth is there any value in Hawks first quarter.
Hawks are 8 - 16 ATS on the road in first quarter.
Chicago are 14 - 9 ATS at home in first quarter.
Number wise, Chicago has two points advantage in first quarter on the Hawks with line being PK...

Dallas at Charlotte: (Dal -4 and 197) Road favorites of fewer than 5 points are 10-5 ATS with Josh Tiven, 3-1 ATS with James Williams, and 5-4 ATS with Dan Crawford. Dallas is 6-3 ATS with Williams, including 3-0 ATS on the road, while Charlotte is 2-7-1 ATS with him, including 0-3 ATS at home. The road team covered in the one other game this crew worked together this season.

Sacramento at Cleveland: (Cle -1.5 and 204) Favorites are 26-8 ATS with Curtis Blair this season, including 9-2 ATS as favorites of fewer than 5 points. Cleveland is 5-4 ATS with Blair, while Sacto is 1-8 ATS with him.

Atlanta at Chicago: (Chi -2 and 186) John Goble is 20-25 o/u this season, including 5-9 o/u in games with totals lower than 195 points. Ron Garretson is 12-24 o/u this season, including 2-5 o/u in games with totals lower than 195 points. Atlanta is 2-4 o/u with Goble, and Chicago is 1-7 o/u with him.

Washington at Memphis: (Mem -4.5 and 184) After his last game went Under the total, Eric Lewis is now 32-8 o/u this season, including 2-0 o/u in games with totals lower than 185 points, one of which was a Memphis game. Washington is 3-1 o/u with Lewis, and Memphis is 3-0 o/u with him.

Miami at Phoenix: (Mia -4 and 208.5) Some conflicting trends for both side and total with this crew.

Oklahoma City at Portland: (Por -1 and 210.5) Several conflicting trends for these refs. Tre Maddox is 0-8 o/u in games with totals higher than 205 points, but Portland is 8-0-1 o/u with Maddox.

Utah at L.A. Lakers: (LAL -1.5 and 202.5) Underdogs of fewer than 5 points are 13-2 ATS with David Jones this season. Utah is 7-2 ATS with Jones, including 4-1 ATS as road dogs, while LA is 4-5 ATS with him. Utah is also 7-2 ATS with ref Mark Ayotte, including 5-1 ATS as road dogs, while LA is 3-6-1 ATS with him.

Chicago under and Cleeland seem to improve looking at this

Looks like Mo Williams' sister is getting better. Still uncertain if he will join the team tonight. I'm guessing no but who knows

Good shit. W/ regards the crew working the Dal/Cha game, I like the UNDER. Fouls are not called as much with this crew, and there is an ATS UNDER bias: Tive avg score 197 (although 3-1 OV when doing Dallas games), Williams 1-5 UNDER in games lined in this range (201), Crawford avg total 196 2-0 UNDER w/ Dallas this year and 3-0 UNDER with Charlotte this year. I'm assuming Crawford is the lead official, but that's a guess.

Sacto 1-1 with Blair this year, Cle 2-1. Cle 2 wins SU as a dog. Both teams liable to look ahead to the All-Star break. It appears Sacto already has, however, they are too good to lose all 4 on this trip. Sacto now favored. Someone thinks this is the one they win.

Chi/Atl getting nothing but under action, yet game moved from 187.5 to 188 at Pinnacle.

yup 75% on the under in chicago... very strange

atlanta is by no means a good defensive team.. and imo the situation of coming home from a long road trip affects you more on the defensive end than the offensive...

the suns have been giving up an avg of 23.7 ppg to the pg position in the last 15 days... chalmers o/u is 10.5

TV: NBA TV

  • Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao (back) and shooting guard C.J. Miles (right foot soreness) are out. Varejao underwent an MRI on his back that did not reveal any structural damage, while Miles had X-rays on his foot that also were negative. Both players were injured Sunday in Cleveland’s 91-83 overtime win over Memphis. “With Andy, it’s his back and really his whole body that is sore, so it will be good to get him some rest,” coach Mike Brown said. “But, obviously, you hope that it’s not a long-term thing.” Varejao and Miles are both listed as day-to-day for the Cavaliers’ game Wednesday at Detroit.
  • Cleveland center Tyler Zeller will make his fourth start of the season in place of Varejao. The second-year pro is averaging 4.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 40 games, but also has been a “Did Not Play – Coach’s Decision” on nine occasions. “The thing Tyler always has to remember is to be ready defensively,” Brown said. “When he’s in his stance, he’s pretty good. But when he relaxes, his posture is too straight. When that happens, he has to react, not be proactive, which you can’t do as an NBA player.”
  • Kings coach Michael Malone spent five seasons as an assistant under Brown with the Cavaliers from 2005-201o. The rookie head coach admitted having mixed emotions when Sacramento hammered Cleveland 124-80 on Jan. 12, which was the sixth-worst loss in Cavaliers history. “I would never want to do anything to embarrass or humiliate Mike Brown in any way,” Malone said. “I know he isn’t going to allow his team to lay an egg tonight like they did in that game.”
  • The Kings’ lineup is point guard Isaiah Thomas, shooting guard Marcus Thornton, small forward Rudy Yag, power forward Jason Thompson, and center DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins was held to a 3-for-16 shooting performance Sunday in Sacramento’s 93-84 loss in Washington. “That was the first time I’ve really seen DeMarcus struggle like that,” Malone said. “That’s why we’re going to play through him and establish his post presence early tonight.”
  • The Cavaliers’ starters are All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving, shooting guard Jarrett Jack, small forward Luol Deng, power forward Tristan Thompson, and Zeller. Cleveland has won two games in a row and trails Charlotte by four games for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
