my guy opened Cavs at 4 and quickly jumped to 5,,
is Deng confirmed to play tonight?

The Cavs are not expected to have Luol Deng available for Tuesday's game against the Sixers

think it was bc84....

it was in Sundays thread I believe. ...

number2, i think you are referring to this one.

Dertroit hasn't conceded 100+ pts in 4 straight games this season (109-106-106 L3).

In Detroit's last 21 games,

- the 1st period has been the highest scoring period a total of 11 times - 8 of those 11 totaled at least 57 pts.
- the 2nd & 4th periods have been the highest scoring period only 3 times each; the 3rd period 4 times - none of these combined periods totaled more than 56 pts (& only 2 more than 51 pts - 56 & 53).

Detroit is 2-8 ATS last 10 @home (1-5 as a Fav).

----------------

Memphis is 11-2 to Under in their last 13 instances of playing off an Over result (went Over vs. Denver last game out). The 2 exceptions to producing an Under saw them lose SU & ATS.

Memphis has averaged 89.5 ppg this season (8 instances) off having scored 100+ pts in their previous game (averaged 92.5 ppg in 4 games w/a total line north of 190.0 pts). They have yet to post consecutive 100+ scores this season (scored 108 last game out).

Memphis is 7-3-1 ATS L11 away, as opposed to 3-7-1 ATS L11 @home.

The Suns are scheduled to play Chicago, Minnesota, Memphis, Detroit and New York on their five-game, seven-day road trip that begins Tuesday night in the Windy City.
Scheduled is the operative word, however, because the sub-zero temperatures paralyzing the Midwest and East have made travel a logistical nightmare. Phoenix’s initial charter flight to Chicago on Monday was pushed back to approximately 7 p.m.
The expected temperature when the team was to land: minus-11.
The Suns already have canceled this morning’s shootaround so they wouldn’t have to bus to the United Center twice in one day.
The players, meanwhile, have decided how they’ll deal with the “polar vortex.”
“I won’t know how cold it is. I’m not going outside,” swingman P.J. Tucker said. “From the bus to the hotel, and I’m ordering room service. That’s all I’ll know.”
This is the longest road trip of the season for the Suns (20-12), who were one game behind Golden State and the Los Angeles Clippers in the Pacific Division heading into Monday’s games.
They’ll have to deal with the schedule — and the elements — without guard Eric Bledsoe (knee sprain). Bledsoe said Monday he was feeling much better and that if it were up to him he’d play on the trip. But he’s expected to be sidelined until at least the Jan. 15 home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Phoenix was expected to sign former fan favorite Leandro Barbosa to a 10-day contract on Monday, with Barbosa joining the team in Chicago.
Barbosa, who last played with the Suns in the 2009-10 season, hasn’t been in the NBA since February of last year, when he tore an anterior-cruciate ligament. But he averaged 20.8 points and 3.1 assists for a Brazilian team in preparation for a possible return.
“LB is my guy,” said guard Goran Dragic, who was Barbosa’s teammate in 2009-10. “I think he’ll help us. We know what he can do. He’s a great offensive player, a great guy and a great teammate, and I think he’ll fit right into this system and this team.”
The Suns could use all the help they can get.
Bledsoe’s injury has shortened the rotation, and coach Jeff Hornacek is concerned in particular about extending Dragic’s minutes over the five games. He said it’s imperative that backup point guard Ish Smith gives Phoenix consistent production; Smith had eight points and eight assists in the Suns’ 116-100 victory over Milwaukee on Saturday.
“I like the way Ish played the other night,” Hornacek said. “We need more out of that on this trip so Goran can be rested. He (Dragic) goes hard on both sides. If we’re playing him 36 to 40 minutes a game, by Game 5 in New York he’ll be worn out. Other guys have to step up.”
Dragic said the road trip is another opportunity for the Suns to confound skeptics who thought they might not win 20 games all season.
“We’ve got five games in seven nights. It’s going to be tough, especially because we’re playing away,” Dragic said. “This is our first really long road trip. … Everybody knows we are a good team now.
“We just have to be focused, be ready and bring it every night, especially now. Away games, you have to play 20 percent better than at home.”
The good news: All five teams the Suns will face have losing records, and Phoenix is 10-5 against teams under .500.
“Obviously it’s a big trip,” Hornacek said.
“If we can come out of here with three wins out of five, I think it’ll be a pretty good trip.”
Tuesday night’s game
Suns at Bulls

When: 6 p.m.
Where: United Center, Chicago.
TV/radio: FSAZ, WGN nationally/KTAR-AM (620), FM (98.7).
Bulls update: Chicago is 14-18 and 12½ games behind the Indiana Pacers in the Central Division. The Bulls, who are without star point guard Derrick Rose (knee) have won two straight and three of four. Six players average in double figures, led by Luol Deng at 19 points per game. Center Joakim Noah is averaging a double-double with 10.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest. Chicago is allowing opponents to score just 92.2 points per game, second-best in the league behind Indiana.

i was thinking.... phoenix should be tired with the travel right?

but chicago just lost one of their longest tenured players and nobody on the team really likes it, the team has nothing to play for and its known that boozer is gone soon too

why should the bulls give a fuck?

I will start making excuses now, didn't realize all the travel issues with Indy and Toronto.

Cavs taking care of business. Philly in the shittiest of shitty spots and the cavs are letting out some frustration tonight

YES. kings foul with a second left. Down 5 going into half.
