Trade?

az1538

Pretty much a regular
I give Quintana, Holliday, Carpenter; I get Goldschmidt.

I have Aramis to fill in and Holliday's on my bench anyway. My pitching is pretty solid.

Am I giving up too much?

In any fantasy league, I almost always accept a trade where I can get the best player in the deal. Make the deal for sure.

Well, that was my counter to his original offer which was: Ryu & Werth for Darvish & Holliday. He reject my counter (the original post) and countered with this:

Goldschmidt & Ryu for Sale & Holliday.

Sale's my boy, I dunno if I want to part with him. Ugh. What do you guys think? I also dunno if I want to give a guy Sale (or Darvish) who has Kershaw.

Here are our rosters:

it doesn't suck but it's not anywhere near elite. keep sale and you're probably winning every cat every week. trade him and you can possibly win them all every week but you're depending a lot more on guys who aren't proven and can explode at any time. McCarthy is scary, Keuchel is still a question mark and even Kazmir is probably due for some regression as good as he's been. Ryu isn't a stellar 3 pitcher in fantasy. He's ranked 32nd right now.
