Trade: Al Harrington for Jamal Crawford

Kinda suprised the Knicks want to get rid of arguably their best player. Especially with D'Antoni's system. I can see why he likes Harrington, a big guy who can run the floor and hit the 3 ball.

As for the Warriors, this is gonna make us real small. Biedrens and Turiaf are our only decent big men, but are real power forwards playing the center position. This is going to make us real small, especially when Monta Ellis comes back coupled with CJ Watson and Morrow.. I think Nellie will use Magette and Steven Jackson at the 4 spot alot. Should be a pretty exciting running team for the Warriors.

rumor has it that marbury will be in uniform tonight so that the knicks will be able to dress the league minimum of 8 players. not sure what other trades are being considered but if they are going to be shorthanded like that, might be worth grabbing the bucks -2.5. at the very least, the line will jump up if something else does happen. again, just rumors for now but take it for what it's worth.

Wouldnt be quick to fade NY shorthanded especially since Marybury might be playing with a chip . Just a thought...

Like the deal because Harrington is the type of player who will thrive in this system and Crawford is really not that consistent IMO shooting the ball. Would prefer a 2 guard who is a tad more automatic with his jumpers ....

apparently a done deal. randolph to the clips for tim thomas and cuttino mobley.

knicks just cleared a ton of cap space today.

The New York Knicks have agreed in principle to send power forward Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, two league sources said Friday afternoon.

The Clippers would send Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley to the Knicks for Randolph and guard Mardy Collins.

The knicks also dealt Crawford for Al Harrington earlier today.

Mobley has a better jumper then Crawford though but think he is older and injury prone . Mardy is decent but a throw in and end of the rotation guy . Harrington , Thomas and Chandler is three insanely athletic versions of eachother .....
