Gee enters Thursday with one of the highest ERAs in the majors. He's been tagged for eight runs and 16 hits in 11 innings over his last two starts.But the right-hander has a 2.50 ERA in three outings at Citi Field but has gone 1-2 while getting a combined two runs of support.

The Braves have hit .288 with eight homers in the last five games while scoring 32 runs against some decent pitching. They averaged 2.7 runs in the previous seven contests, batting .201 with four homers.Teheran (1-0, 5.08), who makes his first start since April 29 after having his last scheduled turn postponed by rain. Opponents are hitting .333 against Teheran but he has shown a proficiency for working his way out of jams in his last two starts. Teheran yielded 18 hits but only three runs over 12 1-3 innings in those games, and he didn't give up a home run during that span after allowing five in his first three starts.The Braves have won each of Teheran's five outings, though he's given them just one quality start.
