952 Chicago Cubs* -290 vs Milwaukee Brewers x3 ...both tms starting their best pitchers but the Brewers cant find their bats and the Cubies are scoring. Davies has been very good lately and that includes a win over the Cubs in the last month, where he pitched brilliantly. As good as Jake Arrieta has been, the Cubs lost five of his last seven starts at home.That helps make this price insane...but
The Cubs are hotter than they've been all season, losing just two games in the month of August so I have to stay with them

964 Detroit Tigers* -118 vs Boston Red Sox x half ...not a helava lot of confidence in his play but Boyd is 4-0 with a 2.16 ERA in six starts and a relief appearance since the Tigers called him back up in early July. . Detroit is 5-0 in Boyd’s past five at home vs. teams with a winning record.The Red Sox could be pretty sluggish in getting into Detroit late on Wed and then we have this early start

playing the dog with a decent SP and I think Phillie can hit Stripling

956 Cincinnati Reds* +171 vs Miami Marlins x half ....this may be the 1st time I have gone against Fernandez who has been great this year, but not as good lately and maybe the Reds can get to him.Straily is actually the hotter pitcher @ 5-0, 2.13 in his last six starts and Reds are 8-3 in his home starts.

I like Det TT @ 4 but not so much @ 4.5
While Buchholz has looked just terrible @ 0-5, 8.00 in his last seven starts, three of his last four stayed under and last five Tiger games stayed under the total. GL

959 Arizona Diamondbacks/San Diego Padres* Over 8 -120 x2both tms pitching staff are getting hit bigtime and will prob be playing Over in every game in this series. Like the home tm just a bit better even though Bradley is the much better pitcher

a great pitching matchup here that has under written all over it as Bumgarner is dominant at home where he has an incredible 1.46 ERA this season. Also, he is 4-0 with an ERA just over one in his career against the Mets and I think they will have a hard time doing anything against him. Also, deGrom has a minuscule 0.84 ERA in his career against the Giants and he has only conceded a total of two earned runs in his last four starts, so runs will be at a premium in this one. I hope I can stay up late to watch this one.
