26 games have gone by without 2 opposing teams reaching 100 pts in regulation within a game.

The longest gaps (& 2nd longest in brackets) in recent post seasons between such occurrences (since PHX isn't a part of this present p.s., but was present in these recent p.s., their games have been ignored given their penchant for producing such a result).
07-08 - 14 (10) games
06-07 - 14 (12) games
05-06 - 12 (11) games

Even combining the 1st & 2nd longest drought numbers, which exclude the Suns influence to generate even shorter streaks, doesn't produce a number larger than the present single streak's size for this 08-09 p.s.

Great defense, or putrid offense? I know my pick.

so are you gonna ride it, BC?

...i like the home teams and Boston, but I have like Boston all series. It ain't often that you see them as underdogs so maybe that's just it.

...also hope Houston closes out the series so i can hit my futures bet on them getting into round 2, but I really hope Ron Artest doesn't touch the ball on offense all game long

wow was leaning ORL/PHI under but Scott Foster is 45-25 (64%) o/u this season and he's with 2 i think decent-sized under leaners.

2 of 3 over guys in the POR/HOU game, and then 2 of 3 over guys in BOS/CHI, too.

fuck. no elimination game unders for me then

Everything about this set of games is fucked from an elim-Unders pov

BOS-CHC: lacking KG for BOS's defense, and 4 out of 5 games have gone Under in regulation - why would anyone believe in taking the Over when it only pays out due to OT?

PHI/ORL: Magic lacking Howard which changes their offensive approach and this series is off 4 straight Unders, terrible combination for Under - series results have conditioned people to expect Under, and now we're in a prime Under spot (elim game thats a game 6/7) = Over comes along to fuck bettor's up w/a real basis to expect it.

HOU/POR: a series off 3 straight Unders, so again the conditioning is there in force, and its a prime under spot.

My preference is to take these games off Over results the previous game, or at least for the series concerned to have had an Over result or 2 in 1 of it's 2/3 previous games. Every one of these series has had 3 Unders in regulation their previous 3 games. That says to me pretty much expect 2 of 3 to go Over. I couldn't try & bet the exception (thou I would guess in Houston).
