+$57.55 Tuesday and gave it back losing -$58.04 last night.
Royals @ Yankees: Yanks have done well this year coming home off a road loss and Junis did not do well in his only start in Yankee Stadium. Still I have a hard time laying -270 with Gray. He's won 2 in a row for the first time since being a Yankee so that must also mean he has never won 3 in a row as a Yankee.
Mets @ Pirates: Hard not to like the Pirates here. Even though they have a 1-3 record this season coming home off a road loss, they still have scored several runs in those games. The lone shutout came off a 2-7 stretch for the Buccos. Hardly the good times they have seen of late and they are 2-1 against LHPs this season with an ERA between 3-4. The lone loss there came against Patrick Corbin who is having an above average season. I'm not sure Matz can duplicate Corbin's stuff. I guess he can. Anything can happen I suppose but Kingham has been on a roll himself lately. In short, if the Pirates get any pitching tonight from Kingham they should handle the Mets methinks.
Rays @ Orioles: Orioles are 0-5 SU & 0-5 RL at home off a day of rest this season. I know it's stretching the day of rest a bit seeing as they played an inning last night, but hey it came up in my query! And if one feels the urge to back Cobb at all then I would say God Bless ya! This 0-5 stretch even includes 2 losses against the powerhouse Marlins and Royals! Having said that, the Rays on the road are certainly no world-beaters, but they have already beaten Cobb twice in Camden Yards this season.

My last comment on this one....Cobb was favored in his last two losses. I said to myself if he is favored again the line would have been fishy. However, I'm seeing him as a +110 dog so I think it's safe to say the Rays are the way to go in this game.
Twins @ Red Sox: I think the Red Sox should be on upset alert. First off, home teams on a day of rest (technically the Red Sox played an inning last night) vs. opponents with 0 days rest in the month of July after the All-Star break are a historical 0-4 SU and 0-4 RL. That caught my interest so I looked into it a bit more. 2) The Twins otr against winning teams and left-handed pitching (see pic 2) are 3-8 SU but the BP lost two of those starts for Gibson. He left both games with the lead. 3) Gibson has pitched extremely well at Fenway Park in 3 starts with a 1.74 ERA. See pic 3. Lastly, I just checked ESPN Pickcenter and the Red Sox have 94% of the consensus. So.....my public bloodbath pick of the day goes to the Red Sox! Twins are worth a shot IMHO!!
Phillies @ Reds: When I increase the win differential (opponents wins > home team wins) in this situational query from >0 to >5 to >10, the win percentage for the home team goes down from 28% to 16% to 0% respectively. Nothing counter-intuitive about that! Backing the Phillies tonight and looking forward to seeing this rookie make his ML debut.
Dodgers@Braves: When I enter the previous game margins for the Dodgers on the road after they've lost by 0, 1, 2, & 3 runs, their win % in the next road game goes from 50% to 41% to 16% and finally to 0% respectively. Seems like the harder they lose the harder it is for them to recover. Wish I would have done this query yesterday!
