In NO, I think it's a good idea to bet on Clippers if they lose tonight and on Pels if Clips win tonight. Almost sure that Clips will get a split out of the two games.

clippers have had a very successful road trip.... Now they're in New Orleans for New Years and it's their last game of the RT....total flat spot IMO.

I don't know what to make of the injury to curry. The Warriors have been relatively healthy for the since the 2013-14 season. Normally the MVP going down would mean others step up but the Warriors being 29-2 kind of negates that.

on a somewhat related note... The Warriors don't play the Spurs for the first time until late January. That's crazy.

Spurs will beat them atleast twice.

Updated the lines. Wouldn't go near the game in Houston. Rockets are one crazy team and no one knows the situation with Curry and the rest of the missing Warriors...

Btw, very strong Under trends on this date, especially with totals lower than 200, but we had early games before this season...

I do like the Under in Oklahoma and in Utah.

I was just playing around with the situation of a strong team somehow finding itself in mucky circumstances where oddsmakers are making the team a slight dog even though the opponent is a sub-.500 team:

season>2013 and WP>60 and 0 < line < 5 and o:WP<50

This seems to work for years back as well, showing a tendency for these teams (today would be Warriors and Clippers) to lose ATS.
