I like the Pacers. I really think they can compete with many good teams. They will lose many games, but they can stay competetive...

Cleveland should win, but the line sure is high...

Not a play yet but fairly strong lean to Pelicans. GS is with out doubt a very good team but they are playing this game with a very real look ahead to Chicago and have faced a high percentage of trash teams recently. At home they are 4-3 ATS with covers vs Utah Hornets Lakers Clippers They have failed at home ATS Orlando and almost lost even though they saw the Suns game Brooklyn Spurs and lost They have beat the Pelicans 7 in a row and my reading is indicating that the Pelicans are on a upswing. Still thinking but likely play

Need to start fading the Pacers and supporting the higher tempo teams in the west, and I think tonight is a good spot to start. 8.5 is a lot to lay, but Portland is in a different class right now. Portland at home, Pacers still getting healthy...I like Portland and the over tonight.

POR ranked 16th in PACE at home so far this year, not nearly as up tempo as they are on the road.

Portland at home on Thursday Has won 10 straight and is 7-3 ATS in those games. GS through 2014 is 6-2 SU and is 5-3 ATS but last 5 they are 2-3 ATS Indiana away on Thursday through 2013 is 3-3 SU and ATS. Their last 8 away went under.

like cavs but may wait till half to get an improved line...if they play well they win by dd

pacers jump out for some reason

like pels but wonder how they will handle warriors speed and you need davis to play well or its over early

Cleveland game is very confusing. With Toronto the next day who beat them at Cleveland by 17 and leads the East and facing a Knicks team that is not much currently. Meanwhile Knicks at home on Thursday through 2011 are 9-2 ATS

Last time that Cleveland won four straight games (like they did now), they lost four straight.
The last thing they want, is to come to Toronto, off a loss...
LeBron always loves to play in MSG and this is a national tv coverage game.
I really doubt they will mail it in...
I think that Cleveland should win both games and easily.
Toronto without DeRozan is not the same team and the Knicks... I think they are still without a home cover this season, correct?

Not talking about a SU loss. I simply can not play Cleveland ATS. I can and will hit NO hard.

i think the way to play cleve is in the 1q...they have covered 5 straight (i think) and they match up well with the hapless knicks

I'm actually thinking about 1h and game also but 1q will be my largest play

yes they do....a lot of talent and terribly disorganized
Eh, I don't know how talented they really are - roster was kind of a patchwork job to accomodate Lebron. I mean, honestly, for Shawn Marion to still be a starter at this point in his career is kind of a joke. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they either let Love walk or trade Irving during the offseason to get some better parts.

I don't know what the best answer is for them actually but I would stick with those three,I think they are as talented as Lebron,Bosh and an aging wade that won two championships (really only should have won one) Kyrie,Kevin and Lebron represent a lot of ability and personally I would get a few more pieces and a real coach that can teach Kyrie how important an assist is,Kevin how important it is to hustle every night and the entire team the importance of team defense...it was hard to watch all the bickering and lack of control by the coach and harder to watch them perform like a high school team

They are not even close to the talent of the big 3 in Miami....... Wade is a first ballot HOF and will go down as one of the best SG of all time kyrie cant touch wade in his prime..... I think love is getting exposed and has become really just a pk n pop shooter and the monster # he got in minny was because wellll its minny.... He cant play D has been killed in games on that end offensively hes def talented but doesnt represent a special skill set plenty of stretch 4's in NBA... but againto say hes better then Bosh.... ehhh atleast bosh got the concept of how to play D and showed in miami he could play he just never did with tor... the only thing ill give love a nod is the 3 pt shooting bosh can hit em but love is prob mor consistent.. in the end Cle will never win a SHIP is nobody but marion and varejo play a lick of D thats why there starting......

lebron thought he was going to a better team thats REALLY why he left but he clearly sees that was a huge mistake...... dont think cle gets out of the East

i totally agree with everything you have said here,,,but just to point out i said an "aging" wade, and bosh is the same as love in the sense that he came from tor where he was the only option...but i totally agree that the major difference is the defense that miami had was outstanding and cleve sucks....it took a while for the big three in miami to jell and they had an excellent coach who stressed d every practice and had very good offensive sets...i will admit that bosh probably played better d than love is right now after he had been with spoelstra a while but in all the games i watched miami play i was never that impressed with bosh (i live in so fla)....actually disappointed....regardless you make solid points but i am not ready to give up on a team that has such a solid base of talent...they need a coach

I hear ya..... I did expect bosh to be more dominant he has the # but watchin games hes just not "takin" over like he shoukd. I live in south fl too so i watch many heat games... The heat really excelled when spo told the guys you play D you can run whatever u want on O.. Cle is talented but they have some major holes as did the heat which i find funny... They could use a george karl kinda coach... Maybe trading irving .. The big diff is we have God Father Riley n they got some shmo running the show i dont think he can put the pieces together to get the job done
