Love the Blues (-125). Haven’t played since Saturday. Flames starting their backup vs Blues #1.
I am a little worrisome that the Flames beat a good Nashville team on the road (Tuesday) but maybe that is good for the Blues; they won’t take them lightly. The Flames scored 2 PP goals & 1 (EN) in Nashville & the Blues have only given up 1 PP goal this season. However, their 5v5 is struggling.
The long layoff since last game could be a negative but from what I’ve read they say they are ready to get out to a fast start. They also get one of their top defensemen (Edmundson) back from injury.
There is a lookahead that I’m a little nervous about for the Blues. They play Chicago on Sat & Ducks on Sun. My guess is they get their first win of the season vs Flames, get revenge on Hawks, & win an ugly one vs the Ducks.
