Blazers look like an interesting option...
Boston 3 - 6 ATS since Crowder's injury (including the Rockets game in which he was injured).

No. 1: Spurs won’t chase perfect home record — The San Antonio Spurs had to endure a fourth-quarter push by the New Orleans Pelicans, but held on last night to win 100-92. The victory moved the Spurs to 38-0 at AT&T Center this season, marking the best home start in NBA history to break the 37-0 record the Chicago Bulls compiled in 1995-96. Three home games stand between home court perfection, but in typical San Antonio fashion, going 41-0 at home means nothing to the Spurs. Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com has more:
Gregg Popovich’s blank stare on Wednesday previewed what he would say when asked what it meant for the San Antonio Spurs to run off their 38th consecutive home victory and set a record for the best home start in NBA history.
“Absolutely nothing,” Popovich said. “Maybe a cup of coffee. Maybe.”
While observers might view what’s percolating in San Antonio as special, the Spurs consider the regular-season accolades meaningless if they’re walking away in June without a championship trophy in hand. Most made that abundantly clear in a business-as-usual locker room on the heels of San Antonio’s 100-92 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
“The only thing I see is that we can try and win a championship,” point guard Tony Parker said. “I don’t really think about having a good regular season, how many games we won. It doesn’t matter, because at the end of the day, the only thing you remember is how many championships you won.”

Manu Ginobili hadn’t played since March 25, as the club deactivated him for matchups on Saturday and Monday at Oklahoma City and Memphis. Ginobili’s last extended rest came in February as the result of testicular surgery, which kept him out of 12 games. Upon return from that setback, Ginobili racked up a season-high 22 points in 15 minutes. After this latest two-game rest, Ginobili came back to the lineup and lit up the Pelicans on 5 of 6 from 3-point range for another 20-point night while tying Leonard for the team high in steals at three.
San Antonio faces Toronto, Golden State and Oklahoma City in its next three home games.
Parker said earlier in the week that he doesn’t expect Popovich to play all the front-line players in either of the remaining matchups against the Warriors (April 7 and April 10). Parker reiterated that point at Wednesday’s shootaround and said it “doesn’t matter to me” when asked about the importance of the club’s current home streak.
Ginobili echoed those sentiments.
“No, it really doesn’t [matter],” Ginobili said. “If we would have lost Game 24, and now we are 37-1, it wouldn’t make that much of a difference. Having a 38-game streak or 37-1 is unbelievable, anyway. So I really don’t care about streaks. We know we are having a great season. If we would have lost one more or two more, it wouldn’t change that.”

Agree with that but they are looking ahead to the playoffs and they have to play a good game vs Atlanta. See this game as nothing.

Just a first impression. Wait on the Portland game to find out if Crowder plays. He is one of their best defenders which they need right now as they have little chance in GS

I guess you have to lean to Portland playing on 2 days rest and at home. They have at least 1 ref who should help them and Boston is just not playing well

port should stomp the c's.....c's ran it up on them in boston and the c's are struggling w/o crowder....going to check on crowder playing here in a bit

lebron over 40.5 pts/assists/boards is the best play in the nets/cavs game imo (especially if kyrie is out)

the bulls have seemed to air out their frustrations before the indy game... lets see if it carries over tonight

or not....

INDIANAPOLIS -- Jimmy Butler hit the winning shot in Tuesday night's 98-96 win over the Indiana Pacers, giving his beleaguered Bulls teammates a victory they desperately needed as they cling to faint playoff hopes, now two games behind the Pacers for the final spot in the Eastern Conference race.
After it was over, the Bulls didn't look or sound like a group ecstatic to keep its playoff hopes alive. They didn't celebrate as if this was the start of the momentum they've been searching for most of the season. The vibe in the locker room seemed like that of a team that is just ready to get the season over with. As Butler described how "big" it was for the Bulls to get a win after a stretch in which they had dropped four in a row, a reporter deadpanned to him that he seemed excited by the proceedings.
"Who me?" Butler said as a small smile crossed his face. "I'm tired, boss."
It's understandable that they weren't exactly jumping off the walls after an ugly win in Game 74 of a lost season. But the vibe in the quiet locker room encapsulated what a strange emotional ride this team has been through all season. The highs aren't always high enough and the lows aren't as low they as they could be.

The belief within the organization is that this streak is one of the reasons free agents will want to sign in Chicago in the future. The consistency of playoff appearances will be a selling point to any prospective free agents moving forward. But when asked if players take pride in the fact the Bulls have gone to the playoffs seven years in a row and if they think about that streak down the stretch, Butler was honest in his assessment.
"Nah," he said. "You can't really focus on the past. You got to focus on the right now. We want to get into the playoffs. So we can't worry about how many years we've been there, how many years we haven't. We just got to focus on winning these games we have in hand and hopefully end up in the playoffs."
Bulls point guard Derrick Rose says he thinks about the playoff streak "here and there," but when asked what it would mean to this group to get to the playoffs after a season of so many ups and downs, Rose acknowledged that he wasn't sure what the right answer was.
"I don't know," he said. "It could spark something. I really don't know. This year -- it's been up and down. Who knows in the playoffs? We could get things rolling by coming together, but it's going to take us getting there to do it."
Butler was asked if he felt the players were on the same page more after Sunday's team meeting.
"We better be," Butler said. "Because we got to be in this together. That's the only way that we're going to win games. This was a team effort tonight. Yeah, guys had big games like Niko [Mirotic], but little plays like [Mike Dunleavy's] charge or Aaron [Brooks] throwing a great pass to Niko for a 3. Everybody's got to be in it together and know where everybody's going to be on the floor."
The Bulls deserve credit for digging down late in Tuesday's game and finding a way to win. But these players, especially the core of guys like Rose, Butler and veteran Taj Gibson, know that the result of one game doesn't mean the Bulls have turned some proverbial corner. They aren't sure what to expect night to night from the group, either. Rose says he believes his team is more unified now, but he has also learned in these situations that talk is cheap.
"For sure more than a couple weeks ago," Rose said of having everybody on the same page. "We're desperate right now. But we're going to see how it is next game. I could sit here and say this and say that, but it's going to take action."

Kevin Durant's comments about the Reggie Jackson situation are disgraceful. Shouldve just stopped at calling Jackson's actions bush league. Going on about he wanted to play vs Detroit but "who cares about Detroit" took it way over the top. Acting like he did the Pistons a favor by not playing. Just pathetic.

Durant should be happy Reggie left... They got Kanter.... Dumbasses

First bet. No lock but very logical. Under 207 in NO. It is dropping fast and I have seen 206.5. NO 3-11 under b-b. Denver bone tired playing 5 in 7 away against a team whose chief desire is for the season to end and looking ahead to Kings and OKC

The pacers are getting their ass whooped in the effort department. Embarrassing. Orlando is fighting hard the rest of the season.

The Bulls are back.

The pacers effort was inexcusable and their inability to take control of the paint is awful. Very flawed team with an overrated defense

I'm hoping they can sneak into the 8 spot and take on the Cavs in the first round of the playoffs.

So when the thunder play a team resting players durant says they overcame adversity. Ok Durant

What do you want him to say? That he couldn't care less about regular season and secured in the 3rd spot in the West and just waiting for the playoffs?

He was talking in cliches, just like every athlete does as we talked about in another thread. I thought you took all of their cliches for face value, why is what he said something different?

And like Divol said, what did you expect him to say? Not to mention, they did kinda overcome some adversity last night. Regardless of the players playing for the other team, they still were down and had to fight back. I'm sure Durant would say they should have never been in that position against THAT lineup, but they were in that position and fought back to win.

i just have a problem with his "who cares about Detroit" comment. That's all.
