That's what I was thinking. Also, all the people on lebron's nuts for getting some of those shit teams to the finals. Doesnt look so great when this shit team did the same.
NBA was pretty week from around 1996-2010 or so. There were good teams but not a plethora at one time. There was some bad hoops in that timeframe as well. In the modern NBA, 2011-2015 was some pretty good hoops..maybe a few years more. Now, it's just layups or threes... defense optional...yuck.
Good coaching and prime Dwight got them by in that weak east once KG went down. Really good defense + taking smarter shots managed to be enough. And yes - the league just didn’t feel that strong that postseason especially with the KG injury. Those Celtics were ready to dominate again and just got some bad luck.
