The Raiders New Home

Highly doubt it even gets off the ground, the NFL still won't let Vegas resorts use the term Super Bowl
 
Yeah agree with KJ. I think the Raiders have a better shot of going to San Antonio then Vegas.
 
The NFL is playing the right cards by saying that no city is exempt but it'll come down a vote of the owners. Doubt 24 owners will want their teams going to Vegas.

From a business standpoint it's an absolute no brainer. There's nothing to do in Vegas on Sunday afternoons. Attendance won't be an issue.
 
Some of the best afternoons in Vegas are Sunday pool parties until about November, doubt that's a concern they even think of though
 
University bought a ton of land which I assumed was for a new stadium at campus. I said this was huge for the rebels. I actually had not considered the NFL move. However, if UNLV gets the stadium and an NFL team is playing in it, then look out because the program will take off.
 
LOL quick search is just over 600,000 but Vegas Valley is just over 2,000,000
 
It's also a pretty short drive from both Arizona and California where a lot of Raider fans reside.
 
Hell, one weekend of the NBA All-Star game was enough for the city to seriously question EVER wanting an NBA franchise. what a disgrace that weekend was.

the NBA allstar game was epic destruction to the town. The Sexual assaults being reported were insane ... service workers quitting all over town .. it was disgusting.

The town handles huge influxes of people for Consumer Electronics show, Rodeo, Superbowl etc. etc. etc ... but just never had as shitty a group as the NBA people that weekend.

Dana got a deal with the city, it's why UFC is so frequent. City needs an influx of incarceration revenue, just dial up Dana...every other month or so it's the gift that keeps on giving

Probly a sting or two at the Rhino already worked out

Actually, that is the shocking thing about it all .... We put up with people from other cities acting at their most vulgar, uninhibited, and sinful, yet rarely have outrage over any of it. That is how vile the NBA people were. Just acted like Animals/Barbarians/Cavemen/insertsimilarcomparisonhere. It was awful.

Of course I am .. I am comparing humans to humans. We also get NCAA hoops crowds, super bowl crowds, rodeo crowds, construction .. you name it .. we are one of the leaders in the world in hosting large groups of people from all walks of life.. host numerous conventions centered around debauchery too.

My point is simply that the NBA crowd from that weekend was a steaming pile of shit and the city hasn't forgotten yet. Apparently horrible tippers too.

Thank you. I appreciate you chipping in. It is easier to appreciate when you do it by choice. I would never force you to chip in for my stitches though.
 
It wouldn't bother me if you did "force" me to, not that any decent human would feel it as forced.

The UFC and NBA crowds are both notorious for being less than adequate tippers. Quite different from the Consumer Electronic and AVN crowds.

I went broke buying burgers from Silky .. that is how I got in this mess. $20 is meaningless to you rich people. I deserve your $20 because ... well ... ok nevermind why .... you have it and I don't so I should get it. Send it over and make sure the fees to send it are paid for by you too.
