It's been nothing short of a miserable season for the Denver Nuggets. Luckily for them, there's only six weeks until the season's over, and they're counting down the days until that happens...literally.
A fourth-quarter huddle late in the Nuggets' 104-82 loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday broke with this phrase: "1-2-3 ... six weeks!"

As in six weeks to go until the end of the season. That's 24 games, 46 days and 1,152 minutes away.

Tax day, April 15, is getaway day: the last day of the Nuggets' season. Rest assured, there are players who are already counting.​


Things are already testy between the players and coach Brian Shaw, who has repeatedly called out his team's lack of focus and intensity this season, and this probably won't help matters.
 
Obviously there are going to be inflated lines for this dumpster fire but how do we attack this? Discuss...
 
Might have to pull out a Sacramento Kings one as well, some nice spots there with inflated lines though no doubt.
 
need to check the other teams schedule but march 4,6 and 7 look appealing..

I think the Nuggets ship has sailed as far as finding value in betting against Denver. However, the inflation will lead to some play on situations, when facing quality opponents who are looking ahead and thus past Denver, especially if we can catch them towards the end of a SUCCESSFUL road trip in Denver.

Another spot may be to bet ON bad teams, in good spirits, aka Minnesota and Orlando.

Eastern Conference teams fighting for final playoff spots could be a spot as well.

Then there are the exotics:
- 1st qtr or 1st half bets against Denver.
- Player props against Denver's lack of defense.

Oddly enough, since the team quit, they put together a run of 5-1 UNDERS since the allstar break. Team hasn't cracked 100 points since all-star break.

Well, Dei Lynam really screwed me with her report. At least the first half cashed, but the total ain't happening.
 
Hunt will indeed be the interim coach, and he’ll fill that role for the balance of the season, a source tells TNT’s David Aldridge (Twitter link). Hunt, a holdover from George Karl‘s staff, has been an assistant in Denver since 2010/11. He was previously an assistant coach with the Cavs, Lakers, and Rockets, and it was Houston that gave him his start as a video coordinator in the 1990s.
