You have to go back to 2010 to find a game where CC Sabathia gave up less than 3 runs to Texas. Since that game, his ERA over 9 games against the Rangers has been 7.27. Martin Perez has been serviceable for Texas recently. Not seeing NY as deserving anywhere close to this kind of price tag.

Looking at the series as a whole, I see Texas as salvaging a split here.

I am noting that the Texas pen is good on the road. I want the F5 as well here though, looking to exploit what I see as value in the starting pitching matchup.
