Seppi -120 vs Querrey (3.6 units to win 3 units)

Lopez -115 vs Del Potro (3.45 units to win 3 units)

Youzhny -165 vs Clement (4.95 units to win 3 units)

ATP Paris

Nieminen -160
vs Monaco (4.8 units to win 3 units)

Nieminen is coming off a great tourny in Basel where he got to the finals only to lose to the master. He has a 3-4 record overall in Paris and made it to the QF's last year. Monaco meanwhile doesn't really play carpet tournies much as he is a clay court specialist. He has a 2-4 record overall in carpet events the last 5 years and this will be his first time playing in Paris. He showed in Lyon how uncomfortable he is on a carpet surface as he barely beat Chaunac and lost in straight sets to Hartfield.

Think Nieminen will be too much for Monaco. He has more experience on carpet and playing in Paris. Also he is coming off a great tourny as said before in Basel so should have confidence.

Youzhny +117 vs Gonzalez (2 units to win 2.34 units)

I have to take a shot on this. Gonzalez is 0-5 in Paris. Youzhny is showing a decent form right now. He played well in St Petersburg and dispatched of Clement easily in the first round. This is his first time playing in this event again since 2004 where he made the QF's that year. Gonzalez has the H2H and ranking over Youzhny but with Gonzalez's string of bad luck in this tournament and Youzhny showing decent form right now I think he's a dog that might show some bite today.

GL Marcus, I'm actually leaning the opposite way on both of these, which is probably a good thing for you the way things have been going in tennis for me lately.

gpcyan: gl on your plays starting soon bro, I'm very sure you will turn it around.

Das Kapital: he definately got the job done in good fashion.

Nieminen wins in straight sets and Youzhny pulls it off in 3 sets to send Gonzo to 0-6 now at Paris.

2-0 for the day +5.34 units

And I finally clawed my way out of the horrific hole Madrid caused me lol

2007 Tennis Record: 24-23 (+3.89 units)

yo, watch this

Davydenko's Lack of Effort warning. If you fast forward to the 3:30 marker the commentators stop talking and they mic Davy and the ref arguing. Its nice to here the ump get on him in match.
I saw this link, but I was under the impression that the ATP officials changed the fine to something other than the "lack of effort" warning.

Either way, interesting clip there.

Not sure if they changed it or not, but it was originally labeled a "lack of effort" fine. Not sure what I really think about it. I would hope that a player isn't this dumb to do more shady things when your already under investigation for match fixing. Was kind of funny to see a long discussion where a player is trying to explain why he is sucking. Think thats a first in sports history. He complained about his legs were weak then afterwards said it could be a mental problem also. I know for one thing, I'm not betting on him again for a long time until a lot of this stuff gets straightened, including himself.

Ok just gonna keep it light today. Gonna try one value bet.

ATP Paris

Ljubicic +155
vs Baghdatis (2 units to win 3.1 units)

Like I said this is a value bet to me. I feel the odds are too high on Ljub. The last 3 matches between these 2 have gone the full distance with a bunch of spirited play. When Ljub last played in Paris in 2005 he won it and is still a very tough carpet player. I know Baghy is playing great right now, but just hard to not take a shot on Ljub at these odds.

Baghdatis +150
vs Davydenko (3 units to win 4.5 units)

Do I need to say more about this. Davy won this tourny last year but I dunno about this guy yet. Baghdatis is playing damn well and beat Ljub yesterday in straight sets. Think Baghy can give him a fight if Davydenko don't fight himself

ATP Paris

Canas -150 vs Robredo (4.5 units to win 3 units)

Both these players have had decent success in Paris but I'm not feeling Robredo's form of late. Canas is the better player, I can't bet against that.
