How Baltimore does not absolutely light up Cleveland is beyond me. They have to be a wee bit pissed with their opening game situation as defending champs. I think they come home & make a statement. I don't think I'll be wasting the 6 points on that one.

Line is creepy. It makes no sense at all. Baltimore coming off a loss with extra time to prepare for their home opener against a team that looked like football AIDS.
I want to bet Cleveland but how can you?

Hate to be a downer, but, that's a lot of favorites on those tickets, imo. One upset and they're done. For example, on that first ticket you need 5 faves of approx. 1 td to all win. I would think there would be an upset or two somewhere in there. That's why when I do teasers I typically prefer teasing the dogs up.

Teasing the Rams up to +12.5 is the smarter play compared to teasing falcons down to ml. Besides the notion that its the falcons home opener and they can't possibly go 0-2, there isn't one reason to like the falcons here. The Rams will play them tough.

I'm sorry, but this makes no sense to me. When did the Rams > Falcons happen, in Atl no less?

I agree, Cowboys and Dolphins up would be appealing. Disagree any side in the Jax-Oak game. Seems way to unpredictable. I'm not opposed to betting teasers up, but generally look for TD faves at home that can tease below FG. Just how I approach it, but not an absolute. The five or six teamer was more a lark. Don't often go that many. The two three-teamers I feel very good about. GL all.

A number of things I like on a tease this week—that said, there are a lot of home -6s out there and that's normally bad news.

Balty
Cincy
Atlanta
SF should be able to stay inside 8.5/9
Dallas should be able to do the same.

The idea of Indy to +3.5 works for me, too as I don't see them losing.

And everybody says don't tease totals, but I'm not everybody, I'm a total sucker. So I like teasing the Bears' total down (I think they may get to 30 on their own) and the Lions' total down as well.

Joe P- Totally agree on totals. I think teasing overs down is totally rational especially in the new NFL. Just got to find two teams that play at the right pace.

Wanted to come back to this, to kinda post-evaluate...certainly not tryin to be a dick, T.

Ok, so looking back... Eagles screwed up the first ticket. Also, looking at those first 5 games on the first ticket which are final, EVERY dog covered the teased up number (SD, CLE, TEN, STL, MIN).

The second ticket only needs a Bengals home win, but, is only miraculously alive off the game winning Bears td in the final seconds...had it been on the Vikes +13 or whatever number, woulda been a breeze.

Third ticket is a winner...woulda been a winner with both dogs as well.

So, from what we see here...the dogs in all games wagered on these teasers are undefeated.

Now looking at all games in the NFL this week:

Dogs are 12-2 on a 7 pt tease (WAS, NYG losers)
Faves are 12-2 on a 7 pt tease (NE, PHI losers)

So, what does this tell us? Well, to me it appears with all the parity in the league, teasers are great investments in the NFL right now.
