Go NY Go NY Go Go Go
Thoughts so far:

Mets on a 9 games winning streak and have Santana starting. Santana went 1-5 in month of june during Mets struggles. He is 1-1 in July. Santana hasn't looked awesome this year but still possess the abilty to shut down teams. Met's have seen cueto already and got to him for 8H 6ER 3BB 5K. Cueto should be able to do better this time out being at home. Cincy past 5 series has won vs Clev, Wash, Milw and lost to Pitt and Cubs. Mets past 5 series has won vs Philly, SF, Col and went split series games vs NYY and STL. The mets have been gelling lately and I'd wanna think they should come off the ASB in a high gear as well. After this series they play Philly whom are 1/2 a game ahead. I'd think they want the majority vs Cincy to go into Philly trying to take at least 2 out of the 3 as well which will give them a nice step up on Philly. There's always Billy The Gas Can Wagner who can screw up everything for anyone as we saw last night. On that note I'd be glad to get Santana at a price of -143.

Colorodo has scored 2 runs total last 4 games. They have a few players out with could be contributing as well. I'd like to think Col will take this game after being shutout twice as in BC's Back to Back shut out losses thread. But this team has been horrid along with a few other teams that have around 45 or less wins. They play pitt whom are in the same boat with 44 wins. Jiminez has alot of walks and Col is 14-12 vs LHP whom Maholm is. Looks like a tough game IMO when looking at each teams performance overall.

STL is going with their hot pitcher Lohse. Line is -105 both ways at this point. Peavy's last 2 starts vs STL in 13 innings had 6 hits and 0ER 4 BB and 15K. Pretty impressive. Go back 2 more starts in 06 and in 10 1/3 innings he had 20 hits 11 ER 1BB 8 K. Now Lohse has 1 start in 07, 6 2/3 innings 4H 1ER 2BB 4K. 2 games in 06 8 2/3 innings 14 hits 11ER 3BB 5K. SD has beaten Lohse all 3 times they have faced him. Peavy has won 3 out of last 5 vs STL. SD is at the bottom of the pack with 37 wins while STL is near the top with 53 wins. Another tough game to call but I'd lean STL.

I'd like to check out the series prices before I do anything. I'm gonna start an after ASB Record to try and rate how I do by Season end to try and keep disciplined and organized in what I'm trying to do. Will post plays and amounts right before gametime.

Leaning Under 7.5 in STL. Both pitchers are on top of their game. STL can be impatient and Peavy should go long. Lohse shouldn't have much trouble vs SD. As I have said before both pitchers are either on or their not. I could see a nice pitchers duel in this one.

Really liking the Under after knowing that Glaus was in a hitting slump and all the total HR's and RBI's are very minimal with these players that have seen each other pitcher.

I like the total. One side should get completely shut down and the other offense will have to make it up against a tough pitcher. Bullpens are the only thing that should worry you.

Thanx fellaz gl to all of you.

Musiccity: If picthers go 8 inning I'll be more than happy to just witness the closers :shake:
