Can't wait, thank you for doing this again. Really helps when scouring the futures market.

Between now and the conclusion of week 4 if you want an idea of the specifics of a individual team(s), I'll gladly give you an idea of what Tier is within reach for them.

I'll mention SF possibilities since they are my favorite team.

They could be as high as the1st Tier and as low as the 5th Tier. They'll be a 1st Tier team if they meet all the requirements below in week 4.

● Defeat JAC by DD
● Score at least 21 pts vs JAC
● Allow 30 pts or less vs JAC

How about Detroit? My favorite team.

We need Trey now. The other horses are all coming back soon. Should be a top 3 offense and the young D is flying all over the place. But Bosa is a 1/1.

It appears after looking into several teams with 3 weeks in the books there's going to be some new faces popping up in the 1st Tier potentially and a possible a suprise or two in the 2nd Tier. There's also a few teams that could be a higher Tier but also a lower Tier.

I'll start posting them at the conclusion of Thursday nights game and as games are completed Sunday and Monday.

Should be fun to track. Last season I hit a nice bet with TB (2nd Tier) to win division at +800 at about week 9 or so when they were 3 games behind the ELIMINATED Atlanta Falcons. Hopefully another situation occurs like that again this season.

I took a look at the Cleveland Browns possibilities solely because of their great defense and this is where they stand with 1 week left before final Tiers.

The highest they can be is the 3rd Tier. The lowest is at the bottom, 7th Tier.

To be a 3rd Tier team they must...
●Win @ Detroit
●Win by DD @ Detroit
●Score at least 34 points @ Detroit
●Allow less than 32 points @Detroit

If they fail all the above in week 4 they'll be at the bottom, 7th Tier. Last season there was 1, 7th Tier team the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-13).

The Chiefs can finish as low as the 6th Tier if they don't win along with a few other scoring limits, which would ELIMINATE them from not only winning the Super Bowl but being a participant as well. Their best finish is the 2nd Tier if they accomplish 4 criteria. They need a dominate showing this week.

Yes I just update seeding and use the history of the seeds of previous SB winners for Tiers 1-3. Also to update who the playoff teams are after each week. Comment #1 has all past SB champions with Tiers and seeds.

Wait, they can be revived on your list?
Teams in red are 1st-3rd Tier Super Bowl qualifiers that are currently in the playoffs at the moment. 4th-7th Tier teams are out for the remainder of the season.

The Tier qualifiers don't change after week 4, I just update the Tiers with current playoff seeds.

For example, the Chiefs qualify as a locked in 2nd Tier team but they are out because they aren't in the playoffs if season ended today.

The 2nd Tier Seattle Seahawks look very intriguing to me if they can win their division putting them as a top 4 seed.

Past history of 2nd Tier teams show they must be a top 4 seed as a 2nd Tier team to qualify as a SB Champion, as listed in my opening comment with past champion Tiers & Seeds.

San Francisco looks down and out with all the injuries so their only hurdle in being a serious contender will be the Los Angeles Rams "in" division. Out of division it will be the Detroit Lions in my opinion.

If Seattle can manage a top 2 seed in the NFC and stay healthy look out. They're the only team in the NFL in the top 5 in all 3 categories (DEF, OFF, ST) in DVOA after 6 weeks. This has happened 6 times. 4 of those 6 won the SB, 1 lost the SB and 1 failed to make the playoffs.

The Seattle Seahawks are a team to keep a close eye on.
