GOOD start. 1-0 VGK end of 1st with SOG's 15-9 VGK in the period. Paul Stastny the only goal on a power play with assists Brandon Pirri and Alex Tuck. Pirri continues to empress since being called up from the AHL Chicago Wolves. now with 4 goals and 2 assist on 6 games played

well looked like the VGK were gonna be on "cruise control" most of the 2nd with a Reilly Smith goal at 16:03 to make it 2-0 VGK and were pretty much controlling the game BUT three VGK penalties including two 30 seconds appart and the Coyotes got a 5 on 3 PP goal @ 16:57 AND have 1:15 of PP carryover to the the 3rd period. 2-1 VGK with game SOG's 23-17 VGK :rolleyes:

OK!!! Cody Eakin @ 4:21 of the 3rd makes it 3-1 VGK and NOW Brandon Pirri on a breakaway 4-1 VGK @ 6:58. Pirri "The Squirrel" just KILLING IT!!! now has 8 goals in 8 games played in his VGK career :sportsfanfinger:

WOW just WOW!!! NOW Ryan "The Carp" Carpenter with a short handed goal to make it 5-1 VGK @ 11:44 of the 3rd

AND 5-1 VGK final. gets Marc-Andre Fleury his 22nd WIN of the season BEFORE New Years AND currently TIED for 1st in Pacific with the Flames with 50 points and one point up on the Hosersharks (BUT both Flames and Sharks have games in hand) :cheers7:
