Oh wow, didn’t know that. What a shit show. I’ve been confused bout atl ever since they paid cousins then turned around and drafted Penix w a top 10 pick, made no damn sense to me to give someone a big ass contract then spend a 1st rounder on his replacement. I’m never against drafting qb’s really but didn’t see the logic in that. The worst part is neither really working out and apparently they won’t have chance to get another anytime soon. Penix ain’t been all that great and now he has bum knees on both legs!

When Penix got hurt I was bummed because Cousins will pick up some wins more so I believe. Penix to me will be no better than Tua and I feel Tua is pretty bad.

Yea I think that pretty fair, his injury history not much better than Tua either.

It was a reach for a player that most scouts didn’t love at the next level. Combine that with just having giving a quarter of your cap to a washed QB coming off injury. Bad organization.
