wow...detroit and phily look very good to me

the over in lakers might be worth a look 2....lakers played crapy defense with dallas....and we should see lots of 3 pointers iin the game

played against them yesterday....with boston.... but i would trust them with chicago....the usualy strugle with good defesnser...with big mens under ...but chicago is a different team....

Have u seen dalambert yesterday?he had only 4 REBOUNDS....and no no off ones..and 0 ppoints...

Well after being undervalued for the last 11 game (8-3 ATS) it looks as if the Blazers are becoming overvalued. Really like the Pistons with the short #.

Looks like I will be against the crowd. I think Portland wins tomorrow. I am not sure If either team has played a day game. Suspect that may be an edge to the younger Portland team. Not really important probably. Last 10 games Detroit is minus 31 rebounds. Last 9 games Portland is up 50. Only using 9 games because I did not think including their result vs the Heat was fair. Almost all statistical measures favoring them slightly. A little better shooting percentage. Trivially better free throws. Slightly better on threes. Detroit 97.5 a game and gives up 96.6. Portland scores 98.5 and gives up 93.5. Portland has played better teams. First 4 games of the season they get to start at LA. Play at home against a depleted Spurs team winning and then face the Suns on the road the next day. Oh yes and then play at Utah. They lost those road games. Then they played at Orlando and WON. Mixed results after that but they played in a lot of bad spots. Lucky lucky getting to play at the Suns again in a 4 in 5.
Detroit has an edge. Better rest. Detroit is also looking ahead to the Spurs match up. No argument. That is stupid but also true. They simply are looking ahead. They have 2 good wins. Cleveland and the Lakers. Cleveland was up at half time in that game by 11 points. For some reason playing b-b in the second half they scored 40 points and lost. Portland does not have these Eastern phobia's. This is the first game of of a 5 game road trip in 8 days. They are coming in intending to win. GL

Portland @ Det historically and UNDER matchup. Think DET is 8-0 UNDER on SUNDAY recently . Mix in the 1st game of an Eastern swing for Portland with the 3 PM start . Blazers are playing real well but does look a tad short had this around 5 or 5.5 . I just wonder why open Det short ?? L5 @ Det highest game was 182 combined points.

Bulls been off 3 days since the last game but the end of the crazy trip . Went West then to SA , then to Philly , then back home to play Philly again. Line look stight IMO at -6.5 . Sixers beat them 3x last year and last one was laying 6 at home and score was 121-99.

Only other game lined is LAL and not really into the side but Raps have been a STONE COLD UNDER away from what I recall. So lean UNDER .......

I was actually thinking the same thing when I looked at the game . Det has played no one or actually beat no one . Just thought the spread should have been higher but maybe thats a good sign after all . GL

After the nets win today...i m really thinking of making suns a play....of course with nash playing. Don t know the line but i guess it will be @8?

Wait! I have a future bet on the Nets--. Oh well if Nash is healthy I May play them as well. Trust me they want the game but this really does reguire a healthy Nash.
Just checked Detroit at home on Sunday. They have lost their last 3 and their last 4 have gone under so have bet under the 187 as well as take 4. Will check reffs and probably add ml in the morning.

Total looks interesting for Philly. They're -
12-4 to Under overall (avg 187.7)
9-1 to Under vs the East (avg 187.5)
6-2 to Under at home (avg 187.8)
Consistently solid average which that line was 10 points higher than.

Does Chicago make that much difference?
9-7 to Under overall (avg 198.9)
5-4 to Under on the road (avg 200.7)

Recent meetings?
Only 2 of their last 5 contests (avg 197.8) have surpassed 197 points, 1 equalled it, and 2 went below. The 1 meeting in Philly over 197 pts saw the home team score 121, which patently isn't happening here.

That line (197.0) went nowhere near reflecting any middle ground between these 2 teams averages from this season, it was totally aligned with Chicago's alone & recent meetings. Why? No suprise whatsoever it should drop to 194, but you have to wonder why it opened so high (even at 194 the visible advantage is with Under through the lense of immediate stat numbers).

I've kept an eye on 3 teams and their heavy Under ways vs fellow conference foes: CHA, ORL & PHI. The first 2 have started some kind of Over stat corrections. Seems to me that whoever made that 197 sees Philly's correction as starting here.

Pistons are in a must win situation in my opinion. A few wins and the things will go smoothly, a few losses and everything can collapse. Rip isn't happy, Iverson missing practice, this needs a stretch of wins, not an occasional two wins here, one win there. After losing two in a row, they won two in a row, they can't continue hanging around 50% success.
Portland on the other hand got no situation. Made a nice win over Hornets, only starting their trip to the East. No edge there.
Add to that the fact that you can't teach expirience (just ask Oden against Shaq) and the fact that I don't see one single match up advantage for the Blazers and we get Pistons, maximum stakes.

Think Portland also wins this one.:smiley_acbe:

Mild change. Reduced the under for the game but put some on the under for the first half where the day factor should be strongest. Portland coming West to East should have some problems early and Detroit is an older team I am sure has tended to start slow in day games. Just a little worried about the total for game. Detroit is allowing the opposition to shoot 45.9%. Not the Detroit we all remember. This should be a competitive game which is not so good for an under. Just trust in the day I guess. Refs are c+ for Portland as a side and very average for the total.

Have to scratch any Suns Play I think. Suns beat them by 28 at NJ and have NO on tap. Just too hard a spot even if Nash is well which seems unclear.

After the Nets big upset win on Sat over the Jazz , Im looking a for a big letdown game against the Suns. No fucking way Devin Harris drops 34 pts 2nite playing against Nash. Hoping Phoenix blows them the fuck out.

Had the same thoughts when I saw this total. My only thought seeing Philly with such a high spread and the total being so high is that the books don't expect Chicago to show up for this one. This is their 7th road game in a road, but likely stopped @home in Chicago for Thanksgiving as they had 3 days off. They do have Philly in two days at home and it's reasonable to think this game is blowoff for the Bulls. The Sixers have proven they can put up points if the other team doesn't try on defense, Knicks 115_Kings 125_Thunder 110, but still hard to count on it. If everything went perfect this would fly over the listed total resulting in an even higher total in Chicago for an oppportunity to bet the under.

I don't know why he wouldn't. Devin Harris is WAY to quick for Nash. Shaq should slow him down some but the kid knows how to finish.

I think I'm going to be on the Nets. They've only lost twice in their last 8 games and they were blowouts to two of the top three teams in the league. Phx has a rough road ahead with NOH, Dal, and Utah and they've only one 5 games all year by 10 points or more with two of those being 10 point victories and one being an 11 point win. Nets also have major revenge that you mentioned.

Yes but Nash can also score meaning Harris is gonna be running around wasting energy trying to guard him. Not like Deron Williams who sucked it up last night scoring 10pts and turning it over 5 times. Also that fucker was playing with a sprained ankle.

About the games in Philly and Phoenix. First of all, I noticed that Bulls have trouble against teams with big guys. Won Pacers, GSW and Boozerless Jazz and Dallas. Got blown by Portland, Cleveland and lost to Denver and Lakers. This is the last game on this long road trip (over two weeks) that they do yearly. Both teams are very inconsistent, but with Dalembert, Brand and Young? Sixers or not touching this one.

Suns lost their last home game and I had to go to 2006 - 2007 season to find the last time Suns dropped to home games in a row. Once in 06-07, once in 05 - 06, once in 04 - 05 (during 6 games skid - the longest losing run that I remember for them). I think that combo ML of Pistons + Suns + Lakers is a great option for very nice odds ( in Betfair people offer it for 2.5).
About the line, Suns after home loss, Nets after great win. Motivation wise, it should be Suns heavily. I lean to Suns with the line, but not sure if I will take it.
