What a game in Oklahoma. Sunday game in Oklahoma, Thunder off a loss on one hand, but playoff revenge and LAC off three straight losses on another hand...

I do like the Grizzlies very very much here.

Agree with Grizzlies the side, the question is, who wants to step in front of the ATL train? Griz were able to slow down GS to 98 pts on 12/16, but GS was at the end of 3 game road trip. Playing in the same division as the Spurs, Memphis won't see any thing new.

i like the grizz a lot.. if not for the schedule maybe a max play... (still might be)

Portland OT vs Dallas will likely move the meter, but should it?

Portland

Porland B2B Road-Road:

Obviously a deeper look is needed into the situations surrounding the above listed results, but you gotta start somewhere.

Pounding the Rock is estimating Toronto by 7.
Annoyed with myself for forgetting Boston just Covers in b-b on the road.

i like the rox tt over (of course) .. really like how The rox are moving the ball,,
Lilliard woke up in the 2nd half last night - even though they screwed me with their tt...

Updated the lines.

Memphis, Thunder, Under in Memphis first thoughts. Over Memphis though already and Oklahoma as well.

Clippers didn't lose three in a row for more than season and a half ago. Since CP3 came, they have yet to be dogs off three straight losses, so that's a first, unless you count playoffs as well, since Memphis won 4 in a row against them, covering the last game as well, where Clippers were 6 points dogs...

A lot of people like Memphis. Will look at the game as I have been pushed for time in other sports. Tend to think SOMEONE might give reasons.

I don't have a lot of reasons, but three that I assume you won't agree with:
1) As a general rule, team off a big win, playing against another good team, many times coems short. A lot of emotions were put in the win, a lot of hype before and after the match and bookies and public slightly overvalue such teams. As a rule of a thumb, I tend to fade them.
2) I'm high on Memphis. I think that Memphis - Thunder WC Finals are probable, as long as seeds will allow it. Dallas could be there as well. GSW obviously also, but if I had to choose two most likely - Thunder and Memphis. I think that Memphis doesn't fit well with Atlanta, but you can double it the opposite way. If Hawks won't be able to use Z-Bo's heaviness against him, like they did with Hibbert, they will be in a world of trouble. But, Z-Bo can be on Horford and Gasol on Milsap. The way around though, I don't see Hawks answer to Gasol and Z-Bo in the paint and on the elbow (for Gasol).
3) I'm not high on Atlanta. Good, but far from great team, in amazing form. Off a big win, on the road, against a good team that can create stypkle problems - the exact type of game for them to cool down.

I like the matchups for the Grizz
coming off a loss to a bad team
playing at home - only a few points spread (i took ml)
revenge and zbo plays this time

Hawks can match up with the Grizzlies.

hawks do Not have the size inside to play vs the grizz..

Some more thoughts on the Hawks.- I am a big fan of the team and the way they play.
A few things have played out nicely for them - minimal injuries, schedule and playing in the east - with that being said they have to win the games and they have.
The issue i see with this team is lack of big men on the bench - when it comes to the playoffs they will end up vs raptors and or Bulls - both teams have big men who are physical and can play both ends. - Hawks have Antic, while he is a scary looking MF he has no lateral movement on D. The Gm won't make a trade because he doesnt want to ruin chemistry (i get it) but in the playoffs when the rotation gets smaller and if Horford or Millsap pick quick fouls,, there is no one to go to... They need a backup veteran big man...
Sure they could go small ball, but so can the other teams they will face in the playoffs and those matchups dont favor the Hawks..
Today I expect to see what is basically a matchup zone vs the hawks shooters - this makes it tough to get good looks from 3 and if they force it inside it favors the Grizz..
this is also a revenge game vs the Hawks and Zbo did not play last time..

I hope Memphis wins as I have a investment in them to win the West but so far the data I see goes the other way. Probable avoid

I like the Bulls actually do not like the rest.
Divol's first reason is absurd. Atlanta is 7-1 after an upset win and they love to beat Western powers. There may be something to what Cash said but that I am not sure of. Atlanta is simply loaded with great non super stars that always give their best. I think this is either a play on Atlanta or pass.
Currently up for the day as I won a college game and had Indiana (college) ml parlayed with OKC as well as Suns parlayed and have a 2-0 lead with Florida in hockey. Still thinking about Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta and Hornets

Tracking the lines all plays will be live. The pacers should roll 2nite. Memphis will be up for this game just like NO was earlier this week.

I told you that you won't agree with my reasoning :)

You do like days of the week angle and it just screams Memphis...
Hawks 1 - 5 ATS the last two years playing on the road on Sunday, while Memphis are 4 - 1 playing at home on Sundays, including 3 - 0 this season.

You actually place bets based off day-of-the-week ATS trends over the past 2 years?

C'mon son, 2 years ago Memphis was playing with RUDY Yag on Sundays...ATL didn't even know how to pass the ball 2 years ago.

I'm placing my bets only based on a lucky coin flip, the rest is just to reason the bet...

It's a point guard show for hawks in first half... Let's see if grizz coach makes any adjustments..

Amazed at all the open 3's for hawks...
Probably gave too much credit to grizz coach..

have already talked about how bad they have become for the Suns. did not add Hornets or Toronto both of which would have won. Did add one more college winner and Montreal in hockey and left Atlanta alone and went to sleep waking to find this game where the Suns badly needed a easy one and are losing straight up but with no need to cover a spread.

Suns manager something of an idiot. I have said Green and the Morris brothers need to go. Green who simply will not take good shots 0-7 from 3 4-12 for the game. No room for Zoran or the other good players that sit and wait and never play. I obviously looked at the days but Memphis did not play good teams on that Sunday list this year. Only reason I did not play Atlanta was they did have a good player out. Suns disintegration goes on. Kings were about the only team I would chance them with

Hornets in general are terrible at home off a loss but in the range of their last loss they were 4-4 and there were major negative trends for Indiana plus the obvious fact that they were looking at a home game the next day vs the Spurs.
I am stuck on Sundays with college basketball and hockey going on and early games and I come here and hear people talking about their great Memphis bet betting voluntarily against a great team. No real discussion about anything.

Tuck, you're saying that we bet against a great team, but as I see it, Hawks are not better than the Suns and... both wouldn't make it to the playoffs in the West, in normal form.
Bledsoe is not much worse than Teague and while Horford and Milsap are way better than anything that Suns have to offer, Suns are way way way more talented starting from 5th player and so on (after Korver).
I think that all the Hawks fans and this season the number has multuiplied itself I think, should be ready for a huge upset in the playoffs. I think that Hawks wouldn't make it to EC Finals and maybe even first round exit.

As for the Suns, this is a team that is not among 8 best in the West, maybe even not best 10 in the West and yet somehow holds on to the 8th spot for now (obviously injuries in NO and Okc had a lot to do with that). You talk about Green and Morris brothers, but I can't agree.
Get rid of Thomas, Plumlee and Len. Thomas can't defend and he can't be on the floor together with Dragic. Green is amazing athlete that can hit three pointers. Unless you don't plan on resigning Dragic this summer, Thomas got to go.
Plumlee and Len create illusion of decent front court, but that's a lie.
One of the Lopez brothers can be great fit, one on offense, one on defense. Whiteside btw can be a great fit there. Gasol obviously would be a great fit on any team. Bring a Center that can really make a difference and not another body because you have to play with 5 players and Plumlee gives you an illusion of good defense. You want Plumlee? At least try to go after the right one...
Suns need either someone that is proven defender - Hibbert, Gasol, Chandler (Robin Lopez), that can put the ball in the net or Center that can also create threat on offense - Horford, Brook Lopez and so on.
For a team to be able to afford a player that can contribute on one side of the floor only, it needs to be either an absolute monster on one side of the floor or a team with Durant and Westbrook on it or a team that is Grit and Grind like Memphis.
Suns are trying to be fun team, but Center position is a huge hole on offense, Morris (the less talented one) has a lot of bad shooting nights and that's it... You got Tucker who is a defensive specialist that can do things on offense, but you can't rely on him and Frye is gone and it's Bledsoe/ Dragic/ Thomas - that's it.
Trade Thomas and one of the Centers, throw in Lakers draft pick for next season and get Brook Lopez. He will give you spacing and Gerald Green back...

Divol you have said as you see it. I think a real possibility here is you need glasses
