Summer 2025 transfer window

I'm deeply concerned that your Gunners are just flat out better than my Reds.
We might need Isak to get by you this season.

Stuck working with 2 guys who worship City, they're the blindest homers I've ever met , both are all in on them winning both the EPL and champions league this season.

What are your thoughts on them this season ?
Lol no City homer blindly thinks they win anything ever

It's more like we're skeptically really good but expect the bad. Thos two guys likely haven't learned the history of the club nor know people who've been City people since way before 2012. Hell I'm still trying to learn.

Have a look at the bluemoon forum, fans are insane!

I do like to read the redcafe forum sometimes, more diverse set of fans than elsewhere

They're rich pricks🤣 from Long Island who go every year for a month long sabbatical to see a few City matches.

I'm not sure how long they've been fanboys, but guessing a long time considering they're in their 50's ...

I feel lucky that many of the people in the club here have a tie to Manchester and City past. It's fascinating to me.

I'm not shy about only giving a fk about club soccer after the Agueroooooooooooooooo goal in 2012. Changed my life as a sports fan.

Our club meet up is downtown here, too far for me unless I have a ride. Obv West Coast time makes everything early. Easier when the time change that we don't observe happens. But still effort as opposed to watching at home.

Owner of our pub has season tickets and goes back a lot. Mind you Phx to London then train or car isn't easy. He obviously sells tickets he doesn't use but he goes there at least once a month during the season.

You and the bookies are more optimistic than me for Arsenal!

+180 Liverpool
+200 Arsenal
+275 Man City

I think all 3 should be at the same odds for now. Slight edge Liverpool if you get Isak

I think with Arsenal we have the best defense, and Liverpool/Man City best offense

Bit of a meltdown among Arsenal fans this week worrying we may not get a new left winger. Trossard just renewed. Martinelli has stagnated. Madueke not his natural position. We thought we would get Eze but looks like we have other ideas

We have a very good team but the thing is we haven't won the title, no player who has won the PL, so the question will remain until they do it!

Wow that's a pricey trip.

Nice to hear that there are pubs everywhere for futbol fans.
We only have like 3 here in WNY that I know of , really fun to watch matches at the one in the old Italian neighborhood..

Can't imagine watching those early matches at like 430 am lol ...

I can't stand this shit but trying to read between the lines. Doing this with one club is exhausting, not sure how or why people do this to themselves twice/year

No Ederson at the weekend PL match means he's likely gone to Gala which hasn't been much a secret for months and Donnarumma will be in. Already angry people convinced that Ederson shouldn't go from a fan perspective. Same people were pissed when KDB and Kyle Walker decisions were made. Must grow up, not out.

Rodrygo is fine but I'm not really comfortable with selling Savinho to a bigger contender. Not sure the addition is worth more than the subtraction.

Transfer windows >>>> actual league season

To decide the PL winner and who will be successful

We have tv programs dedicated to transfers and other futbol stuff, fun to watch while doing other things!

I'm a Cyclone fan

Saturday is 4am City/Spurs then 9am ISU/KState in Dublin. Going to be a complete wreck by mid day win or lose

Pub doesn't open for 4am matches but will for the 6am matches and if chef is available, they'll do breakfast. If not the word gets out for people to do a potluck type breakfast with great beer deals. I mean it's 6am....that when you're either starting a bender or finishing one up!

Think your defense will be reason the Gunners lift the trophy ...

We look real sloppy on the back end. Frimpong looks super fast but I think he gets called for a few penalties in the box that cost them vs the big clubs ( he's too handsy )...

Can't wait to see our squads clash at the end of the month ..

Sounds like a blast ..Wow ..

Leaning on your Cyclones this weekend. Wildcats appear to be depending on the transfer portal to shore up that o line ..Maybe your Boyz dominate them on the line of scrimmage..

@DOUBLEUP4LIFE

But specifically on Man City, I'm not sure yet how good they will be with lots of new guys. Should challenge for the title. CL need some luck to win it even for the best teams

Rodri still out a little while. Will they get Donnaruma and/or Rodrygo?

I think for now it's just about getting points and slowly getting better. Not overreact after the 1st games (like for example very good wins for Spurs/City but Burnley/Wolves should be near the bottom at season's end)

May the Premier League gods hear you!

Yes Liverpool defense with room to improvement. May get Guehi from Palace

Liverpool - Arsenal in 10 days! Be ready for Arteta to park the bus Mourinho style at Anfield 😆 Not that extreme but likely cautious tactic and go for counter attacks, has worked well away to big teams lately

Sorry @~Utah

Seems the Sarr guy has played great in the 1st game but Spurs needed a new #10 since Maddison went down, risky to be this slow

Eze played at the Arsenal academy and stayed a fan apparently. Havertz injury at Old Trafford forced our hand to hijack Spurs move

Love it because Eze can play on the left and in the middle

I have read Frank wanted 2 new #10, curious to see who Spurs will target now. 10 more days in the window. Also Savinho situation to resolve

But the Kudus buy was great

I guess they increased their offer for sauvinho.

Spurs Reddit wants levy’s head on a pike

I can understand after the Gibbs-White episode. I think we did some leg work on Eze a few weeks ago but we had other priorities and told him we might come back for him later. But we have difficulty selling our deadwood players, had Havertz not had an injury I'm not sure we would have swooped in

Anyway, sucks for Spurs but still time to get good players in. Personally I think the asking price for Savinho is a little high. I would look for other players: Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, Akliouche from Monaco, Lookman from Atalanta, El Khanouss from Leicester

I don’t think I’m say anything bold but I would be surprised if they get anyone of quality. Shame on levy. Shame

3 weeks after Maddison injury and no replacement.. Also Kulusevski out a few more months

I have read you have enquired about Morgan Rogers, 5 years left on contract but Villa may need the money, worth a try but have to act fast with the deadline in a week or so

Also Savinho situation is weird, I thought the deal would have been done a week or 2 ago. If Man City don't want to sell, should just move to another target and not waste time

I saw Rogers isnt going anywhere this year

Sauvinho if it happens will happen after the weekend

Rogers could be difficult/expensive but I think Aston Villa are not in great shape with PSR financial rules

Yes I forgot about the Man City - Spurs game tomorrow. But usually Man City let go players who want to leave, get this one and you look good on the wings

makes me oddly feel better

Thanks, I didn't know Eze himself phoned Arteta on wednesday as a last chance to sign him! Nice for us that he stayed an Arsenal fan years after we released him when he was a kid

Could have gone another way, like Kane. If Spurs signed Eze in 2019 when Pochettino wanted him but instead was fired

And I agree as fans we want players who really want to play for our team. Like this summer we liked both Sesko and Gyokeres. Sesko last summer didn't want to join us and this summer Gyokeres was the one who was much more motivated and happy to come to Arsenal

And now I'm very interested to see who Spurs will go for, next week will be busy!
