Dynasty Auction - Standard scoring
No PPR

Start 1 QB
DAK at Browns or Purdy vs Jets

Start 3 WRs
Tyreek vs Jaguars
Mike Evans vs Commanders
Garrett Wilson at 49ers
Jamarr Chase vs Pats - Limited plays

I’ll try to be active on this board this year.
Playing with decent success for 20+ years.

Dak

Top 3 receivers

might be dumb or just recency bias

Pick 1
.25 pts per completion
Josh Allen vs JAX ( rain?)
Kyler vs DET

Leaning Kyler just based on likely game script. JAX want to run and do does BUF

Flex 1
Full PPR
Cam Akers @ MIN, Demarcus Robinson @ SF, McConkey @ PIT, Rico Dowdle @ BAL Keon Coleman vs JAX, Devaughn Vele @ TB (8 catches week 1), pick up Dortch.

Leaning Akers based on volume but considering Dortch since Lions are terrible vs the slot

I’d go with Kyler. Lions DC has a horrible track record against mobile quarterbacks. Goff is also likelier to push Murray to throw than Lawrence is Allen.

I‘ve been screwed so many times by injuries, especially hamstring ones, that I couldn’t stomach playing Dortch, especially when there are viable alternatives.

I‘d worry that Ogunbowale cuts into Akers‘ pass-catching especially, making Akers a pretty touchdown-dependent option— because what good does, say, 70 yards and a catch do? I‘d look harder into the healthy wide receiver options

Right. Matchups not great but 70 yards and a catch feels pretty good right now lol. Normally Demarcus Robinson would feel okay but that Rams OL is decimated. It’s all dart throws for me. That’s why I even mentioned Vele and matchups not bad.

Whittington
Thielen
Adonai Mitchell
Christian Watson…
Iosivas

The answer could just be on my bench already but they all feel pretty low ceiling/floor plays with Keon maybe having a higher ceiling

Glad none of my decisions mattered. Nabors/Kyren/Gibbs all showed up.

My opponent also used $11 FAAB on Jauan Jennings but didn’t play him 😂

Ended up going Josh Allen/Keon Coleman.

Probably should’ve asked this earlier

Full PPR

Roll with Dowdle @ NYG or wait to see if Addison is active @ GB

Looks like Addison will play but how much? Nailor not available so I’d have to plug a random like I was trying to last week. Nailor is still on someone else’s roster.

I think I’m forced to go Dowdle sadly lol

With Osborn gone and Hock hurt there is so much upside for Addison and room for him to be a more consistent performer. That being said if you don’t like taking chances with injuries then Dowdle should be fine against a vulnerable Giants run D. Dowdle is catching passes and he‘s emerging as the better runner than washed-up Zeke

That’s the main thing is not wanting to take the chance on the injury.

At best I’d be hoping for Keon Coleman, or picking up Christian Watson… Michael Wilson could be suitable? Lazard….

Just a lot more uncertainty

With McBride hurt and Wilson the second-leading wide receiver target going against Commanders secondary? Suitable? There’s a huge ceiling there

That being said Packers could also be a super annoying team to go against. With their conservative run-oriented game under Willis they’re well-equipped to own TOP

Yeah. No telling if he’s on a snap count or if Darnold just turns back into a pumpkin 🎃

Hoping for the best in Dowdle!
I’ll be happy if they fully commit to him this week.

1/2 PPR

Hubbard @ CHI
or
Moss vs BAL
I'm all about Hubbard this week. Way to attack Chicago is on the ground and out of the backfield with passes. Brooks isn't ready yet, Sanders is barely seeing much work. Baltimore gives up the third fewest points to RBs this year, game script could be a problem, and it looked pretty close to a 50-50 timeshare between Moss and Chase Brown.

Disgusting.

Full PPR

Start Puka vs MIN (limited snaps), Rico Dowdle @ SF, or Ricky Pearsall vs DAL
I'm not sure that Puka's snap count per se presents a valid objection against him considering the persistent uncertainty of Dowdle's usage rate relative to Elliott's. But the uncertain state of Puka's physical health might. Pearsall I think definitely needs more time to get into the flow of things. 49ers have been relatively vulnerable to conceding catches to running backs (seventh-most receiving yards to RBs allowed; Kenneth Walker for example had eight receptions), so I think Dowdle is the most certain option

Same reasoning my friend gave. I still went Puka 2 minutes before the game bc I just thought upside was too great and I’m playing to win!

Devin Singletary vs Commanders, Trayveon Williams vs Raiders, Julius Chestnut vs Pats, or Miles Sanders vs Saints?

PPR.

Yes i‘m down bad lol
