Spiller Prop - Large

smith1051

Pretty much a regular
Wk 1 - 53/11, total 65yds (Chicago, #10 rushing D)
Wk 2 - 69/9, total 78yds (Miami, #13 rushing D)
Wk 3 - 25/37, total 62yds (SD, #9 rushing D)
Wk 4 - 60/24, total 84yds (Houston, #21 rushing D)
Wk 5 - 8/25, total 33yds (Detroit, #2 rushing D)
Wk 6 - 19/0, total 19yds (NE - benched for 2H after late fumble in 1H)

Last season
Wk 15 - 105/28, total 133yds
Wk 14 - 83/26, total 109yds
Wk 13 - 67/1, total 68yds
Wk 12 - 22/26, total 48yds

So essentially going back 10 games he has failed to get 68yds only 4 times and 2 of those he was within 6yds.

Minnesota gave up 97 total yds to Bell last week, 127yds to Lacy previous week, 62yds to Stepen Jackson, against Saints 69yds rushing to Robinson and 51yds total to Thomas, 101 rushing yards to Ridley and 40 passing to Vereen and finally opening week against Rams 51 total yds to Stacy and 51 to Cunningham.

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports the Bills plan to get C.J. Spiller more involved this week.

Spiller played just 12 snaps last week, and was benched for most of the second half after losing a fumble. It confirms an earlier report that the BIlls want to keep feeding Spiller, and have no plans to reduce his workload. Spiller has potential to have a big game against a Vikings defense that's allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. He's a high-upside RB3/FLEX.

Bills OC Nathaniel Hackett said he "wants to continue feeding" C.J. Spiller.

Spiller played a season-low 12 snaps last week. He had at least 13 touches in his first five games, and should similar workloads going forward despite his struggles. Spiller's Week 6 snap total was the result of getting benched for most of the second half after losing a fumble. He'll have a chance to get back on track against a Vikings defense that's allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Spiller has potential to have a big game, but can't be trusted as more than a boom-or-bust RB3.

I liked this prop a whole bunch before I even saw the above blurbs.

fjax has been shittin on spiller tho so the heats on CJ if he has one mistake or missed assignment hes done.. this is too risky especially since somethin like a fumble will likely get him way less touches.. but either way best of luck

I can respect that barmeezee but don't necessarily buy the fumble bs. Spiller has fumbled twice this year and lost one (last week) and saw the bench. FJax has also fumbled twice but didn't lose either.

Last year Spiller 4 fumbles and lost 1, FJax 3 and 0. Don't think Spiller is prone to fumbles. Just think the NE game was such a big game for Buffalo.

that sucks. always a risk with player props but doesnt make it any less heartbreaking. this was gonna be cake too. all you can do is pat urself on the back for a good call
