A friend is holding three tickets for teams to meet in superbowl

$100 on sea/pats pays $600
$100 on sea/indy pays $4200
$100 on gb/indy pays $7000

Any way to hedge, or maximize profits?

Thanks! :shake:

yea, thats what his plan is, but hes already confused as to betting what?

sea wins, bet pats ML (take into account $600 can be won if pats win)
gb wins, then def bet pats ML

only choices right

Why. If Seattle wins early game, he is guaranteed to win.

Because the payout is so much higher on Indy/Sea, he can be on the Pats ML and still be guaranteed to win. He won't be losing any money, but he'll be able to raise his minimum (but lower his maximum) profit.

You fuckers are way too lazy, do some math. i would guess that waiting for the first game to end is not your best play.

If you want to make sure you are at least positive fill the last leg (the only other scenario that could happen) prior to 1st game kickoff:

100 GB ML/NE ML +390 (around +390 is what I saw at multiple books)

So this is what you win if you have all 4 parlays

$100 on sea/pats pays $600....profit +$300
$100 on sea/indy pays $4200....profit +$3900
$100 on gb/indy pays $7000....profit +$6700
$100 on gb/pats pays $390....profit +$90

Or if the guy has a spare $2750 around he can play the Pats money line that will guarantee himself no less than $1000 for the day. (-275 pats ml)

Profit from 1st parlay (+300) plus Pats ML win (+1000) = +$1300
Profit from 2nd parlay (+3900) plus Pats ML loss (-2750) = +$1150
Profit from 3rd parlay (+6700) plus Pats ML loss (-2750) = +$3950
Profit from 4th parlay (+90) plus Pats ML win (+1000) = +$1090

This is an example. most people betting a $100 aren't going to be able to lay $2750? for 1000 on a hedge. Or they most likely won't want to. They can just ride it out.

Check the math make sure it's correct and root for the Colts as 2 of those tickets are nice prices.
